So, why is 4J being so quiet?
Every weekday we usually get 3 or 4 tweets about the upcoming update or something else, this week, all we've gotten is the top 5 treehouses video and a smiley face from a "accidentally" leaked image of the texture pack menu when creating a world.
Is 4J hiding something?

and this is a new practice? many other game companies will do the same thing, they will post a "leaked" image of something that they are working on to intentually get our imaginations working in overdrive. Blizzard Entertainment does the same thing with new content patches or Expacs for Wow, I remember when I first got into ICC when they "leaked" a massive shadow of a dragon... It was a pic of Deathwings' shadow. so the fact that 4J is being so quiet and putting out the leaked pics usually means they are working on a surprise that will knock us all on our bums. the images are to make us work our creative minds in overdrive trying to figure out what it is

I am also thinking about that lately, I believe they want to give us the update as a surprise because, imagine, lets say that today in the afternoon 4J says in twitter "TU12 is in cert testing!" but tomorrow you wake up and your minecraft asks you to download the update. It would be a pretty nice surprise.
Remember that they said that TU9 (the end update) would come out in April 05? It actually came in April 04! Maybe they want to do something like that again...

Perhaps they are just working hard getting the finishing touches on the update before releasing it to cert testing later this week.
Working hard to get the update ready for Cert Testing? Why would they do that. They're obviously hiding something. Bethesda hasn't said anything about The Elder Scrolls VI. They're obviously hiding something too. So is Gearbox because they haven't even hinted at Borderlands 3. They're hiding something too.
I'd like to point out that the only reason we got so many tweets a day about the update was because 4J had to keep answering the same questions over, and over, and over, and over again. Maybe they finally got tired of responding to lazy who can't take 20 seconds to find the information themselves and instead tweet it then wait anywhere from a few minutes to a few days for a response.
i like the wait. its like christmas or a birthday all the days leading up to it go slow and when the day comes and goes you are alredy looking foward to it again.
