I read that on the xbox version cocoa beans can not be farmed. They had to be farmed on the side of the jungle trees. In my world there are trees with vines in a biome that also has lily pads. What kind of trees are those and what biome is that? Is it true cocoa beans can not be farmed yet
You can not grow them, as it is just part of the natural terrain generation for that biome. They are basically oak with vines... TU12 will have the jungles when it comes out, so it will be a wait for that to be able to farm cocoa beans.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
When does it come out and the update won't effect my current world? I will need to start a new one?
Man, I won't want to even eat those cookies lol
You will need to start a new world if you've explored you're entire map. Even then you don't know if a jungle will spawn in that part of the map. So to be safe, start a new one and keep the one your on to play around on later if you wish.
We don't know when the update is coming out, should be somewhat soon though. And hopefully this is the last time we have to worry about starting a new map because of a biome addition. Time to start playing for real now!
They restore half a hunger and you'll have to eat them again and again because your hunger will drain faster eating cookies.
I really hope so... though adding new ores like emeralds will require a new map.
If they bring in villager trading, I believe you will be able to get limited emeralds in a world where they cannot be mined by trading for them.

You can sort of grow swamp trees. Just plant an oak, let it grow and stick vines gathered with shears around the edges of the leaves. The vines will grow downward until they touch the ground and the tree (if it was the correct size of oak) will look exactly like an original swamp tree. I've replaced/replenished several in my swamp biome in my one world this way.
It's very easy to tell the difference once you've seen the two biomes side by side. The similarity between the two is the vines. Everything else is completely different. You will be able to grow Cocoa Beans on the large Jungle Trees coming in TU12.

It may be that we are getting emeralds in this update. It seems like such a simple thing to just slip the code in, I would personally be shocked if they weren't added... even if villager trading isn't. (Like the End portal without the End.)

You know they are adding at least one new biome to the PC game next time around, right? Yeah, I know that doesn't guarantee it will come to MCX360, but it does leave the issue open . . .

Retired StaffThe trees with the vines are just oaks.
The golden age: it's not the game, it's you ⋆ Why Minecraft should not be harder ⋆ Spelling hints
You'll be eating a lot then considering they have the worst saturation and restoration.
Stay fluffy~
Yes I know, but that doesn't make them less of a cookie.

Retired StaffYou say that like eating a lot of cookies is a bad thing!

It is.
Cookies and Cake are the worst foods to use as a food source.

Yes you can live and bread and water, but do we!
I have one survival island map where I've been subsisting on bread, rotten flesh, and the occasional apple for weeks.

With that said, there may need to be oreo's!
