Yes, because its low luminance contrasts nicely with the high-luminance white background. Cyan (or turquoise, or aqua, or whatever funky name you care to use) is too close in luminance to white, hence it's hard to read. If it happens to pop up on a light-blue background (like every second post here), it's even worse.

On Topic I had no idea what the OP was trying to say; update the xbox version before suggesting ideas for the pc? What? What?
Probably just saying xbox should update before he/she moves to pc with suggestions. To me I don't really care either way, as long as the updates come out when they come out. I play both editions of the game equally interested. Can't say I play time frame equally but each I play in a different way as they are different games to me.
All that being said I think this topic should just be locked as it really does hold hardly any substance.><

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
By and large, the default combinations of font size and type, background color, text color, etc., are chosen to be as readable as possible. That's why the black serif font on white paper, for example, has been a standard of printing for so many centuries. So when you change to something else -- a pale, low contrast text color, a hideous font (and comic sans is hideous for reasons too complicated to go into here), etc., you're deliberately choosing to make your posts less readable. That is not a good thing.

MCX360 and the PC Java version are updated on different schedules by two different teams of developers, production on one does not affect the other.
