First create a seed with a name or number that has a very strong emotional, mental and physical connection to you personally.
Such as the name of your home town that you have strong feelings about or the name of a very close pet that you had for years.
Then search this seed and look for similarities to your physical world. Did you find more similarities with these seeds than you do with random seeds? Is there a connection between the seeds and the name you created them with?
Since the worlds generated by the seed values are reproducible, I would say no.
Let's say through raw coincidence, you and I both choose the same seed "Baldur" because it holds meaning to us, though in very different ways.
We both get the same world. The world that appears can't be shaped differently to suit your sub-conscious and mine when we have vastly different sub-conscious things going on.
Interesting concept. I tend to think though that the window comes when you decide to stay and play within a particular seed. Each of us looks for something different within the terrain that reflects our ideas of what we want to make of that world and how we want to play in it. The window opens farther each time we build something, depending on how much of "our soul" we put into what we're building. When I'm sitting down for a quick round of survival island (quick because I'm quite likely to die quickly - lol), I don't think my dirt hovel house really reflects much of my soul. The seed still does say something about me, since I like survival island seeds; but I don't play them to an extent where they say much about, say, my vision of what utopia is. My main build world perhaps says something more about me in that way.
As for what results we get in a named string - I find they usually have little or no connection to the worlds typed in except in some rare cases. E.G. "stranded" does produce a survival island type of seed; but other equally lonely words produce seeds with forests teeming with life. I type in words because I believe that increases the odds of getting an "unbalanced" seed as opposed to allowing the random generation happen - which seems to produce seeds with a rather similar array of multiple biomes each time.

Perhaps the world is created in a group dynamic. Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

There has to be a very strong personal connection to the name to see similarities. You can still feel alone even in a crowd.

True - Perhaps pulling the lens back a little farther reveals that the very act of seeing or not seeing a connection is a window to the soul. Not seeing a connection perhaps says more about mysoul than what the connection is that I might see.
"Ergo cogito sum" - However, we should also perhaps consider that Descartes eventually drove himself mad... or so at least history "thinks." (or at least the history of it I was taught in philosophy class...)
Egad, this is exploding my brain... TGIF!!! (With that, I'm off to enjoy a sunny day and the weekend...) You have a good one, too, my friend.

All a seed does is set the initial seed value that the random number generator starts with. Random number on a computer are not random, they merely appear to be random to the layman. When you set the seed to the same value, it will generate exactly the same results every time.
Traditionally, you set the seed to something random, the system clock is usually good enough, as the user "cannot" turn on the game and start the game at the exact same time he chose before.
once the seed is set (which is what the game is letting you do for the world generator), it is just code determining what block to put where by way of the random number generator (which is locked into running its calculation based on that seed you set).
I don't use any special words, phrases or numbers as seeds but whatever comes to mind. It's things like the current time and/or date, weekday, the EAN (European Article Number) of whatever happens to be standing on my table, e.g. on a can of beer, any random word on a website I happen to have opened at the time, the title of the track that's currently playing, and so on.

Is it a chicken or is it a duck? - It's a chuck, because dicken sounds stupid.

There isn't any magic to it.

I don't disagree with what you have said but sometimes in quantum mechanics and other fields of study we find connections that we do not yet understand.

The window to my soul has stained glass with a smiley face and neon lights.
Lol. I don't think the terrain generation formula combined with a numerical string can be considered a "sufficiently advanced technology" to be considered magic... unless, of course, the people considering that technology are not sufficiently advanced to distinguish it from magic.
The window to the soul that opens is based in psychology - i.e. how we react to or justify what we experience. If a player seems to get happier seeds when they are happy, it's likely because what they notice of those seeds are the "happier" bits when they are happy. Tthe terrain generation formula doesn't tap into the person's mood and behave differently; the player just sees the terrain differently.

If a higher power (consciousness) was communicating with us would it not be through mathematics? And if so why not in a format where we are creating our own world to provide a basis for inter4action.

I was taught that God communicates with us through prayer and sometimes dreams (visions, hallucinations, etc.). It's aliens and game developers who use math.

your seeds 'sucking' just means you are a generous person that desires to make a better world!
you're welcome
LOL. Be thankful they are not ex-wives!
