Probably many have posted this already, but all I could find was the bug problem, which was over a year ago. Anyways, so I have this big world with A LOT of signs....probably over 100 (all saying something). When I first load up the world, they ALL say Awaiting Approval. Usually takes 10 minutes for them all to load. Now, is the time of the signs loading depend on the internet connection...meaning...if I had a faster connection...would the signs load faster? Or does it just depend on the signs. More signs would mean longer loading? I have OCD and it drives me crazy not knowing this and that my signs say awaiting approval. Thanks in advance.

Is this in Multiplayer alone or both or just by yourself.
The issue is probably a bit of both (internet connection and number of them) since they are probably taking the time to be cleared by Microsoft's language filters. Does the speed improve when you play the same world offline (i.e. with online game unchecked and/or with your Xbox disconnected from the internet altogether)?

It must not go through a filter offline because I can curse on the signs and not have them censored.
Whenever I am connected to Xbox LIVE this happens. Not when I am offline.

Its probably because when your connected to Xbox live, You might play multiplayer, so Microsoft has to filter your signs for profanity and you have plenty more sign's than usual meaning more signs to filter, and when your offline you can't play multiplayer so microsoft has o need to filter your signs.

So you think it's just because I have soo many signs that it is taking long for them all to turn back to normal?

Thats what i believe. It's not a sure diagnoses unless proved. Make another world and put he same number of signs the world your having problems with an put and put two words on each sign, a curse word and another random word. If im right it she tae loner for the signs to lode and something must be edited on the signs. Also try this offline and tel me the results.

Actually, I've been doing that. The signs all loaded in under ten minutes...except the curse words, which had CENSORED on them. I just did it offline and the signs did not even start loading...they just all said what they said...even the cuss words remained.

That's right. The filter is a Live thing designed to keep online multiplayer worlds suitably free from profanity. If you want to have a swear-a-thon in a game restricted to your livingroom, Microsoft has nothing to say about it. As you've worked out with PigMiner234, the filter will take longer the more words it has to "read" and clear. Slow internet connections will also slow it down. Heavy volume at any given point (i.e. lots of users loading online games with lots of signs at the same time) may also slow it down (although I don't know this for sure).
