Just wondering, was he able to get in his world? Because some people on other games say they had to wait like 5-10 minutes. I haven't waited that long though. But your cousin should be fine if he disconnects from Xbox live.
After posting earlier, I ran into the same issue. I thought it was hung up forever, so I quit out, and tried to load it again. I waited a long while, and eventually, the stuck progress bar popped off the screen, and shortly thereafter, the game loaded (*phew!*). Earlier, I noticed I could not bring up any games for sale on XBL. The spinny thing would spin forever. So yeah. I'm going to guess XBL is having some issues. MC tries to spawn a server, and looks online . . . and nothing. It sits and spins, waiting for a response that doesn't come. My guess is that it would respond a lot quicker if I pulled the ethernet cable out of the back of the Xbox. Let's hope they iron out the problems.

Yep! It's an XBL problem.
That's good to know that you can still load up worlds even though you're connected to XBL. I'm guessing you have to wait 5-10 minutes for it to load though. However, I think it's still best to play offline for now. I'm not sure how it'll react if a friend tries to join your world.
So my world isn't being a butt.
All I did was attempt to join someone's world.
A few minutes later it said I couldn't connect.
Now I'm happily playing in my own world.

Ya but the real problem here is that somebody on this tread earlier said that your friends can't join your world so there really isn't any point in playing online. Best play offline for now,

Assassins Cred 2 won't load for me so I'm assuming its one of many games having loading problems.

Yep! It's an XBL problem.

Now I'm happily playing in my own world.
