Well I have been watching PBG and his band of friendos play Minecraft hardcore and they are terrified of them and ghasts.. especially at the same time. This is where in my Party I make someone a designated archer.. then the part is split into three. Meelee/ Grenaders/ Archers

Zombie pigmen aren't scary. My friend is always freaking out because they have a sword... He literally stays 20 blocks away from them at all times lol! I mean, just don't hit them...

Nope.. I start out in easy and bump it progressivly as I get my stronghold built... I was just an observation about reactions to Zombie Porkchops ( which may bery well be staged for youtubes' sake) and how people try to avoid these things at all cost.
I tell ya what... ill start me a new Seed and set it to Hard from the getgo... I have been needing a good does of sado masochism for a while now.
Yeah, I go into the nether to punch a zombie pigmen, then I am running around the Nether trying to escape a ghast. Stupid flying octo-poops.
Exactly my point.. even when your fight off thousands of these undead porkchops. the biggest problem they have is there occasional airborne support they get from both the Ghasts and the blazes
i think its because they have one thing different to wolves (the overworld version of zombie pigmen), and that is they will attack everyone, even if they didnt harm them, its a form of paranoia that people think their braver counterparts will attempt to kill the horde.
if you are afraid of pigmen and you are reading my warning message: they will priority attack the person who attacked them first, so its your chance to flee if they attacked them. if they do happen to chase you, dont lead the horde to other pigmen, the other pigmen are likely to attack because their pigman brothers are agrovated and hurt
This is why people dont fear the porkchops... and at the same time avoid them as much as possible. again its a matter of fighting smater than they do.
I have zombie pigmen attack me even when i dont attack first all the time.
Hmm. It can be annoyingly easy to tag one by accident? For instance, the other day I'm tunneling up through netherrack . . . into a group of pigmen. Then I almost got killed coming back into the Nether because I forgot about the one hanging out around the portal.
Oh, and don't forget the moment you reflect a ghast fireball, that is now "your" fireball - i.e. if you hit a pigmen with a ghast fireball, they'll put out a zombie porkchop APB on you . . .

Nope, I literally have had probably a dozen or better in the past week attack me for no reason. I came through the portal and walked to my blaze grinder and got attacked.
