Me and my buddy were playing on our Multi-player world this one time and we were building up the walls for our town. While I was building late at night I fell off the wall straight into the forest below. When I turned around a green fellow gave me a good scare before it exploded. Probably the only thing so far that has made me jump.
The strangest thing I've had happen is I opened a door to a place I built and was attacked by a wolf. I don't remember having a tame dog in the building either. When I turned to fight there wasn't a wolf but just a tame dog.
I also had a tame dog teleport to me down in my mine. I accidently struck him with my sword that set him on fire. He didn't attack or even him like a demon dog. Just wimpered and died. I felt bad.
I will spend a hour playing left for dead or resident evil and then switch to minecraft and that will cause me to jump. Last night, I gave in, used a mineshaft finder, and went to find a mineshaft. While in the shaft I could hear spiders, which I hate, and I turned around to have a cave spider come right at me. I jumped hurting my ankle and my wife(asleep) jumped
Well, I really don't understand that, unless there was some strange nether-spawning whatnot of some sort in the cave of the glowstone we were discussing.
A squid, at layer 10, having washed in through a hole in the ocean floor.
Squids in general just give me the jibblies.
My cousin also hates them, so I made an xbox profile for him called Squidman, and have the squidman skin, and whenever he leaves to go do something else in the PC version I spawn a bunch of squids.
Nothing in minecraft has/can gave me a jump scare sadly. I used to love getting scared / adrenalin when playing games but these days not much can do that for me. =\ I think the last time Was when I used to play runescapoe and started pvping! The risk of loseing everything I had was a great way to get my heart pumping. =) Hopefully at some point we will get updates that make the game harder so there is a real chance of dieing.
One of my freaky encounters I experienced so far was when I was exploring a cave tryna find some diamonds. Collected a few coal & iron along the way, then i proceeded to descend into the 2nd level of the cave. What caught me off guard, there were floating cobblestone pieces lying around like someone had previously mined a few stone & refused to collect it. I know for a fact that it wasnt from me when I was on the first level of the cave because i tend to pick up everything. There werent any holes or anything aswell. AND a side note....I have never explored this cave before..... It was very unsual. There was also a time where i would find cobblestone blocks placed in areas where theres no sight of lava & water sources running into eachother. Not even a dungeon. I would find a single or 2 blocks of cobblestone stacked in the middle of a narrow tunnel.
I created this discussion to see what experiences people have had while playing the MCX360 edition.
What I'm looking for: freaky things, weird looking caves, spawners in weird areas, and etc.(anything like this can apply) Also, if you have the seed for that, I'm sure my viewers would love to find it. (Seeds will not be inputted into the seeds section for a second time)
Well in the upcoming TU-12, they will add ambiant cave sounds, like a quiet clank in the distance, or pebbles rolling around. Surely thats enough to freak you out.
Well I don't know if this is a generation bug or whatnot, but one time I just started a world, no nether portal or anything, and I saw a light when I went caving... I was at the right depth, so I thought "Where there's lava, there's Diamond"... so I turned the corner, and I got the most dreaded feeling in my stomach. I saw a peice of nether rack. Lit. My world was offline because I had no xbox live gold, and it was on hardmode. I didn't even take time to examine it, I got outa there and blocked all entrances to it so I wouldn't stumble onto it again. I had taken shelter in that cave... when I finally saw light... it was moonlight. A creeper blew me up shortly after, and I ragequit.
I'm just going to love cave exploring with the new ambient sounds o~o, I think I might actually get scared and everything I see will just be freaky. I'm going to play on hardmode too from now on because the zombies can break doors.

Actually, that's not true. I had heard about that myself, and decided to try it. Turns out it only occurs in the computer version, where, in hard mode, zombies spawn in sieges (a group of zombies, pretty aggressive) and break down doors. If near a villager, they turn the villager into a zombie villager.
Once I installed a mod... wait, this is the xbox section. Well then, also, I got this happy looking texture pack... wait, this is still the xbox section. Well, I got this custom map... haohojgjjgjumefwghihnrjoeagnigunrn!!1!

Once I made a chicken farm to harvest eggs and chicken broth, and I went to my house and went back to my chicken farm and all the chickens disappeared the only thing i saw were the remains of feathers and eggs like the some how all died.

Well, that's pretty odd. Normally I'd tell you that they all flew away, but since you claim that there were feathers all over the place, it's sort of weird. Also, the eggs are natural. A chicken lays one every 5-10 minutes.

Well, Endermen had a very strange obsession with my house, They'd keep appearing inside my house almost every night. The first night, it surprised me, so I hit it, and well, let's just say it was raining out, so.... yeah.

It's called going to the Nether... unless you spawned them.....
