You must have a lot of time on your hands! You could go searching for a new hobby or you could waste your whole summer watching Doctor Who and Youtube like I am doing currently.:I
Boredom is an internally generated state of mind solvable by yourself but seldom solvable by others. While boredom with a single thing is quite natural, boredom with everything can indicate onsetting depression and become a serious problem.
I don't know how old you are. If you're older, this article might be of help:
"How, then, can we change our mindset so that the boring becomes interesting? It begins with a recognition that every circumstance, every activity, contains within it the potential to yield value, either to us or to someone else. If we insist on always being passively entertained by life, we'll find ourselves bored by much of it. On the other hand, if we can transform that expectation into a determination to make an effort to create value at every moment, we can begin to make even the most mundane experience interesting."
When learning something, it's easy for me to get interested in it... even obsessively; but when that time passes and it seems like there is nothing else to learn, I can start to feel really bored with it. At that point, teaching what I've learned to someone else often breathes new interest in the activity for me. In addition, teaching others often leads to me learning even more "stuff" about the thing I thought I knew everything about because learning is actually a life-long experience.
You can pretty much just read the above post and skip the rest, OP. It's pretty amusing how a thoughtful post written with good intentions earns just as much rep as a rude sarcastic insult. Anyway, here is another link I found which you may find useful. It would be ideal to practice something like this now. As you get older, life will likely become more stressful and self-motivation will grow more difficult.
Y'know, just because someone invests a lot of time into video games or any enjoyable past time doesn't mean that they don't have a job. You can't rule out the possibility sure, but you can't label it as fact and move on when you have no concrete evidence as to whether or not it's true.
Anyway, you might want to look into playing "retro" games as others have suggested. There are plenty of games that were, and still are great fun. You could also try being more active, if you aren't already (cycling, running, etc.) Hell, if your feeling bloody suicidal, you could go BASE jumping. People get a huge rush out of that. We can only give you suggestions, you have to deal with the boredom yourself. If your tired of the old, try something new.
i tried this and ended up with the weirdest lag i'd ever had.. i fell off an unloaded chunk and wandered around the bottom of the world. i found diamond down there. when i finally popped back topside, i cored down and stole the diamond.
does this count as an xray glitch?
is it off topic if i wasn't bored with video games at the time?
For those few saying Get a Job, I hate to say it but in my province I'm not old enough yet!
I have actually found some other games, World of Tanks; Xbox 360 Edition Beta was a great place for me, I really like it (:
I also have re-started playing the original Starcraft 1 and Starcraft 1; Brood War, gotta love my z-ling rushes,
But in terms of real life, I am going to go on a fishin' trip for a few weeks and that should keep me entertained for a while and then new stuff will be out by the time I get back.
1. If you are looking for a video game response, then if you don't have already, get Borderlands 2. I heard that game has great RPG and the multiplayer is quite fun. Plus, you might like the idea of leveling up. Skyrim is the same thing. Just single-player restricted and more in the medieval time kind of thing.
2. Take you Xbox 360 and whatever you play on. Unplug everything and put in the closet. Close the closet. There you go. Now you still you got a great day in front of you. Take advantage of it instead of trying to complete everything. If you are tempted to play Xbox in your free time, and you know that you will get bored in a matter of seconds, then just resist and go to sleep. Then when you finally think you have faded away from video games...come back and enjoy them.
1) Borderlands 2's graphics hurt my eyes really bad for some reason, I can't watch it for 5minutes without my eyes burning, only time I ever have this happen to me, some people think it's from playing too much, but why would it only happen with one game and instantly stop and I switch to another game. So that ideas a no.
2) Read above as you see I won't be playing for a few weeks due to my fishin' trip.I can see about 1/2 of you didn't read my post (saying to do sports or other stuff, etc,)

That really freaks me out, not a good way either, I'm not even considered an adult yet (legally), if constant boredom is a sign of ongoing depression, I better find a new interest.

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.

No need to get freaked out by my post, since I did say:

Knowing now that you're younger, makes me less concerned about you being generally depressed when you say you're bored with everything.
The last part of my original post, however, still holds true even at your young age. If you're bored with something that you know a lot about, try undertaking teaching it to someone else. It will help refresh the activity for you and probably cause you to learn even more new things that you didn't know about it.
Keep in mind, that it's not always financially possible for parents to buy a new game for their children whenever they grow tired of an old one... so, this is one way that you can make an old game seem new again... and extend it's life a little bit.

I think you were just "bummed out" for a little while. It happens to all of us from time to time. All you have to do is find your purpose and that is more or less taken care of. You don't have to worry about that for awhile though. Enjoy being irresponsible, I know I did; I personally feel it's better to get it all out of your system early on. I'm not necessarily condoning illegal activities, I'm saying find a way to be stress free. And if that way happens to be by participating in teenage antics, at least do it the smart way. Oh, and felony crimes, you probably shouldn't do those. Just don't spray paint post offices, stab people, bang heroin, etc.

i've wasted my whole Summer here in my room so far, lol, 100+ Fahrenheit temperature is too hot outside.

Play Shin Megami Tensei IV (3DS), Xenoblade (Wii), Fire Emblem Awakening (3DS), or Persona 4 (PS3, PS Vita, & X360) [I haven't got it yet, but I heard it's a good game & plan on getting it or another entry in the series]. I like JRPGs & you might too. Listening to music is fun as well. Some good songs are:

I usually listen to some Johnny Cash or something in that area.

When it comes to gaming freindo, what I usually do is rig up a different way to play a game I have otherwise kicked the bloodly unliving hell out of.. like Skyrim. So with that in mind.. Find a game that yo uknow has the option of building a character any way possible. and so something out of the Norm/
Other than that... you mentioned your fishing trip, I was gonan suggest going campping. and no not this RV with TV, internet, and whatever.. I cant freaking stand clampers for that reason. I mean hardcore, away from people period, so far up in the sticks that not even Smokey the bear has juristiction.
I'm not saying its not true. But, c'mon, bored. Meh.....Palm against forehead, Lots.
