I do have XBL Gold but the most rediculous thing is paying 10$/month for Gold Membership. I do wonder how people randomly join your games, as this never happens to me. But when I do have an online server I experience lag, for the reasons I usually dont buy XBL Gold. If I did have a server I would be annoyed by all of those things, but in response to #3 I usually have one survival map and multiple creative maps, and some people just want to build, not to survive, and they just build stuff all the time. that is why some people always do creative. Of course this isnt useful if you are making a survival world.

Haha sometimes there's lag sometimes there's not! My friend gets perfect connection in my world. And creative's fine but I like working for my materials and I've still managed to build epic things in survival without the help of creative at all.
But yes usually they are random! And some friends can be just as bad.
It annoys me too, but I'm often completely oblivious to it / don't even realize it. I turned it off last night. It gets turned on occasionally when I'm playing with a bunch of my friends from back in the day. Lots of non-game-related conversations going on between multiple people in the room.
Sadly, I have them, just don't use them. When I play mic'd its usually late at night, over an old set of X41's. Its just so easy to not even notice the kinect mic is enabled. The only way you can really tell is by using the select/back button to bring up a player list in-game and look for the volume icon by your name, going into the settings menu, or someone bringing it to your attention.
There are few things more embarrassing than realizing your 4yo is having a temper-tantrum and everyone in your world just heard the ensuing exchange (sometimes I feel blessed to have an 8 player limit), or you and your wife are talking dirty to each other and some random on CoD starts giving you the "AWWWWW YEAHZ!" Awkward to say the least...
People who join my creative worlds and ask me why they don't have permissions when I never invited them. If I do end up giving them privileges I get random diamond huts that do not go with the theme of what I'm building.

Make sure you don't have "friends of friends" checked so only people on your direct friends list can join. That should solve that.
Haha it really is. You can tell when someone cheats with creative on xbox, because everything gets disabled. The first thing I say when someone asks if I do is "Do you have all the achievements? No? Okay I'll help you get one to prove I didn't."

People who play with a kinect mic are the worst! All you hear is background noise.
This is more of a general problem across any game on LIVE. But, I hate it when I run into that guy with his Kinect mic on, having a lively conversation with his entire family while children are screaming and dogs are barking in the background. Screw that guy.
I absolutly hate those 6 year olds who have mics. They whine and cry about every single thing that they think is unfair. Once i kept on getting hit by a player with a Wood sword and i lashed back with a Iron sword. Then i hear yelling and crying. I heard "This is un fwair!" and "im cummin fur you!" when ever this happens they get kicked and ANOTHER annoying brat fills their place.
I also hate people who think their doing a "Lets Play" and commentate everything.
"Oh cool i found some Diamonds!" it normal.
But "Oh i need to get an iron pickax so im gonna open my menu.... Craft it.....go mine....found some diamonds.....making a diamond pickax....."
When (Mostly my friends) insist on playing on my or another persons world. That's cool. So I play on theirs. The same one. They ask me to make a house. After I finish, they kill me and try to destroy my house. They fail at it, I kill them back and destroy their house back. (I only do this after they save.) They get mad and restart. Not saving. I go offline, I comeback and see my house destroyed. He lies by saying it was my other friend. I believe him, I make another because he told me to. I do. Same exact thing happens. I go offline, it gets destroyed and it clearly is him. It is annoying, mainly because i work hard on my houses and he tries to blame it on my friends. The worst part is he knows he can't do that if I am there. So he has to grief when I am not there. Instead of doing in front me. I don't go to his world anymore and either do my other friends. It is a waste of time going there. He only plays with another friend who he doesn't grief for some reason. And when I invite him to mine, he plays a little and he goes back to his playing either by himself or his other friend. No one else joins.

Iv only played with 2 people from the forum, and suddenly I have 3/5. One asked for tours of my worlds, so i doubt it was him. The other, I dunno what his problem would have been. Didnt grief him, didnt hurt him or anything. But it seriously annoyed the hell out of me.

I met more on PC than I ever did on xbox haha. And they are much worse on PC.
And cheating is much more prevalent on PC.
