So I have been playing on a Minecraft world on my Xbox 360 and I've found diamonds and I want to make an enchanting room to enchant my sword and pickaxe. However, even when i arrange bookcases around my enchanting table I still get low level enchantments. Is there a way to fix this? Is it a known bug? Will it be fixed? Please help. Thanks!
There cannot be anything between the bookshelves and the enchanting table or it will lower the levels you can enchant at. As long as you're high level and your enchanting table is set up like that, there shouldn't be any problem.
Firstly, open the enchanting table, place an item, and look at the middle slot - Does it say 30 in red? If that is the case, the problem is not your bookshelf configuration. It's that you don't have 30 levels of XP available to enchant with.
Yep. In fact, you can nerf the table by placing torches in the way, if you need enchantments lower than 30. Mustache_Guy's shape is what I use. Watch OverlookeDEnT's video above for some useful details.
That is one of my favorite enchanting rooms ubergine that's is so hardcore. As for your problem I would take out all torches I found glowstone doesn't drain it. you saw pictures so I guess you've figured out the configuration, that all I can think of. Good luck.
