I have been noticing lately, actually for a while and i have yet to prove it wrong as of yet. Someone back me up on this..

If you are underground or somewhere where you can't see outside, save the game and look at the background picture while the game is saving. If it is nighttime the background will show a night sky and if it is daytime the background will show daytime sky.

I have yet to see this not be right, so here is a way you can check and see what time of day it is before leaving safety and venturing outside.

Has anyone else noticed this? Or, am i completely off my rocker and just have been lucky it's the same each time I save?

I just keep a clock on the wall before I exit so I know. But nice find.

I've wondered the same thing for awhile. Just never cared enough to bother testing it or finding a use for it.

Yeah, this was added a while back.
I've found it quite useful for telling the time.
(It also does morning and evening, too.)

It was interesting at first, when I first noticed this was added sometime ago. I've used the loading screen before, to see what the time of day was myself. Lately though, I pay it no mind.

Thats pretty cool Ive never noticed that.
