Stand under an abandoned mineshaft bridge hugging the cave spiders and tell your friends as they go across the bridge that you intend to "gobble them up." Of course, that fairy tale didn't end too well for the troll.

There's not an instant death splash potion. There is an instant harm, though.

17. If your friends house is done with stone bricks, change that to silverfish stone bricks then tell him that a creeper is "following" you and blow him up near his house so the silverfish come out

Wait until they're AFK, then keep mining away the ground below their feet. Once they're deep down in the ground, put the blocks back so they're trapped somewhere in the earth. Then wait for them to come back, go "WTF?"repeatedly while they try to figure out where they are. Even more fun if they don't have a map, so they don't realise right away that they're (ridiculously deep) underground.

Or....

Again, wait until your friend is AFK. Dig a one block deep trench around your friend so that he's standing in a small 3x3 area. Now build a 3x3 platform right above that area and empty buckets of lava on the edges of the platform (you'll need eight buckets). Wait and enjoy.

Or...

If your friend uses glowstones for lighting, remove all glowstones and replace them with obsidian. When you friend then asks what happened, act dumb and suggest that it looks like the glowstones have burned out.

Or...

Get ahold of some wheat, then lure a crapload of animals into your friend's house.

26. Make a trap floor (with pistons) and put a pressure plate. And under the floor, put lava. When he steps on the pressure plate, he falls in the lava! It's even better when you know he has a lot of diamonds!
