hey do the snow golems take damage from rain fall ?
should i make a roof over this snow golem farm ?

Yes.. you gotta put some sort of Awning for them to be safe

Yes I believe so. Also I like the look of your snow golem farm but if you want a more efficient method you can place the golem on a single block (I use obsidian) then leave the space open 1 block above the obsidian then above that cage (I use iron bars) the golem in so it has to stay on the same block. Then you can point your shovel at a corner of the snow block that the snow golem leaves and mine snow as fast as you can pull the trigger. Super Happy snow time

If you hold down the trigger while hitting a hard block (stone, wood, etc.) the shovel starts swinging very fast. If you then continue to hold down the trigger and move onto the snow, you mine it extremely quickly.

Never seen a snow golem farm. I would like to see that

if u look he has a slightly safer version of a snow generator there. one overlook made a vid for. very simple and you don't risk smacking your snow golem.

it does look better. kinda like a snow globe. need some dispensers dropping snowballs so it looks like its snowing. lol.

its also a little creepy. living snow is bad. lol but only doctor who fans will get that.

I now have a VERY strong impulse to build an entire snow golem village with library, pumpkin farms, maybe a Baskin Robbins too.

Edit: never really built with snow blocks. Do the torches or glowstone or jack-o-lanterns not melt them?

Only thing that will melt is just the snow pads.. but blocks and snowmen are good to go!

i forgot to ask, if a snowgolem is in water does that damage them at all, i have a pond in there that they jump around in
