I noticed the sorting on creative menus on xbox is messed up, like stairs in the redstone and transportation section. and glass in the decoration area, fix this please
You don't need glass on your build, but it makes it look better, therefore it is a decoration item. Stairs move you upwards faster than slabs, therefore it is a transportation item.
This argument, sufficiently ended.
Does it really matter that much to you? I don't think it should. In creative mode, it's not like you're on the verge of dying if you can't find what you need in a real hurry. It's all visual so you can just quickly leaf through the tabs and spot the item you want anyway. After a short while, you'll learn/memorize where they are and you're set and it's not like you have to keep going back to get a second and third stack of something because once you have it in your hotbar and inventory, it doesn't deplete like it does in survival mode. As others have said, the layout does have a rationale behind it and the Xbox Edition does not have to be exactly the same as the PC.
I didn't say it was absolutely necessary, It just bugs me when items are in the incorrect tabs, thats all.
I can accept that.
I'm going to get a little philosophical here. There is much built into this game that is "designed" to bug diffierent people differently. Part of the challenge the game presents is to think your own way around the little puzzles presented by the developers to the players.
Furthermore, the Xbox Edition is different from the PC because the game developers want it to be different from the PC... They have stated as much.
So, this is a difference; but as both caedmonr and Mustache_Guy have indicated, there is also a rationale behind the difference.
Dalton has stated that there are some things he doesn't like about the sorting... and, yes, I would also probably be inclined, if I were developing the game, to do it a little differently yet again.
Some people in this world also have stronger "compulsions" for "sameness" than others; but you have also states that it isn't absolutely necessary to you that they change it... Although I was certainly interpreting the exclamation mark at the end of your title and the curtness of your original post to indicate that you were more demanding a change that merely suggesting one.
It doesn't necessarily make any of it or any of us "incorrect."
So, what the game is perhaps teaching us here is to become a little more tolerant over the differences that exist in how different people/peoples think... not really a bad thing overall.
Will 4J consider changing it?. Only time will tell. They certainly have many other things to consider that we players do not. I recall that they struggled quite a bit with getting the creative menu to "fit" into the game on the Xbox. I'm not sure, since I'm not programming the game, if this organization of items takes up less RAM than the PC one; but perhaps it might... only the programmers of this actual game would really know for sure.
This argument, sufficiently ended.
Video games may be a service industry of sorts but just because you disagree with something doesn't mean it should or needs to be changed.
I can accept that.
