I jut thought of something...If minecraft xb360 moves to xbox one...then won't I have to spend 500$ to play it?

No you can play the one you have now. Plus the total cost is only part of the issue. Is that the only game you would play on the xbox one? For me I may get the xbox one just to play minecraft but it's a cost benefit analysis. How much time am I going to put into the game? I don't play lots of games I play a few games a lot. Sort of like playing chess the game (minecraft) doesn't get old to me.

... and what would be keeping you from playing Minecraft Xbox 360 edition on your Xbox 360? 4J have said they will continue to update the 360 Edition after the Xbox One Edition is released. Of course, the Xbox 360 will still have the same hardware and RAM limitations it does now; but the game is playable right now and will remain playable on your Xbox 360 as long as you chose to own your Xbox 360. No one is forcing anyone to switch over to an Xbox One. Spend the money IF and only IF the Xbox One (hardward features, other games, Kinect, voice-enabled TV, Blu-RAy, etcl) is what you WANT to have.

My mum used ta say she'd never get a cell phone. Guess who never leaves home without her cellphone? Most people will get the ONE. Some like me gotta figure out if they are gonna live long enough for the purchase to make cents. Dollars and cents

I'm likely getting it day one if minecraft ships out with it. If it'll be months before MC comes out for the ONE then i'll wait til then to get it.

Well, you wouldn't say that you paid $827 for the PC version, would you? (Based off an $800 computer.)

1. the xbox one will not have mc360 edition.. it will have mc xbox one edition they are different games.
2. your gettng an xbox one just to play minecraft? seriously? then just play the pc version a decent pc is much less than 500 bucks.
3. minecraft doesnt cost 500. the xbox one does. minecraft XOE will likely cost 20.00 bucks.(hopefully)

Some other things that cost $500:

1. 1 hour in vegas ... 5 minutes in vegas
2. an engagement ring ... a downpayment on an engagement ring
3. a car payment
4. half of a new dishwasher
5. 250 lottery tickets
6. 100 packs of cigarettes
7. books for 1 class at the University

Come to think of it the xbox one is probably a good deal. Maybe I should get two.

OR, as some people are advocating, spend $400 for a PS4 and forget about playing MC at all! (on a next gen console).

Come on, MC lover. As soon people start posting about how much bigger, better, and faster the MCOne is, you'll just have to have it. So start saving your pennies now. You'll have to get it eventually anyway.

3 more things you could spend $500 on that I have done. Instead of buying the xbox one.

1. buy a used cheap kayak
2. evict 1 tenant and clean the house
3. buy 2 good bottles of wine

Don't worry, if my 300$ laptop can survive a load of Steam games and mods I'm sure you can find a cheap pc to play Minecraft on.
Meaning that it would be noticeably cheaper than that 500$ price you put up on your title.
