However, Xbox's Phil Spencer directly linked that article and put a statement saying "Just chatted to @PopsRamjet and we are still actually discussing it with @4jStudios! Stay Tuned!"
This is basically saying that the article is false, and they are still discussing it. I just wanted to put this out there so people understand that there is still a chance... thanks.
UPDATE:
There was another post confirming that it has not been deciding whether saves will transfer or not, theres still hope!
Also a news article from Official Xbox Magazine here
I see two big problems:
* Converting 360 worlds to One worlds. Easier said than done, as they've already said the two games themselves won't be compatible.
* Expanding the 360 world to One size after it's converted. You might be stuck with a 360-size world even after it's converted to the One.
I know you kids are thinking, "Well, all they have to do is chunk this and chunk that! Easy!"… but there's a whole lot of technical problems to overcome for all that to happen.

I'll believe it when it happens.
I don't have a lot of knowledge of code and how things work in that situation, but it seems logical that when you go to load up a 360 world on the One, it could transfer the chunks information into the world.
