14. Players are invincible to TNT however mobs are not.
15. Building with dirt decreases hostile mobs nearby.
16.Posting many screenshots to facebook will give you a secret achievement.
17. Crafting a diamond hoe is a good idea. A better idea is trying to enchant it.
18. Gold > Diamonds. I think all the noobs know this one.
19. You can find ogres in swamp biomes. They offer toadstew and eyeball cocktails.
20. Pigmen will never attack you. Seriously try it.
21. Crossbreeding a bear and a pig will create manbearpig.
22. Sleeping in the nether is comfy!
23. The only fuel worth putting in a furnace are jukeboxes.
Monsters can't see you when you're in sneak mode. So, the best way to get gunpowder from a creeper is to startle it by sneaking up behind it and tickling it with a feather.
The most effecient mining technique is digging straight down
HEY!!!
If you see small, black dots drifting down from a block above you, mine it! It's a sign that diamonds are right above that block.
Lava only burns flammable blocks that are above it because, as you know, heat rises upwards. Building walls and/or the floor for a lava pool out of wood is perfectly safe.
The most efficient way to get much wool is to simply kill a sheep. Scissors are only used for leaves and grass.
Once you have finished your complicated redstone circuitry, use lots and lots of water to prevent mobs from spawning there.
Build the walls of your buildings out of wool. Wool is soft and can't shatter like stone, so it's the perfect protection against creepers.
Craft and use only a single furnace. Crafting and using multiple doesn't gain you anything, but you'll use fuel up far too quickly.
If you find coal, mine that and keep mining because diamonds are nearby. After all, diamonds are just compressed coal. If you don't find at least one diamond close to coal, your world is corrupted; delete it and start over.
Lava from the Nether is hotter than lava found in the normal world. Always use lava from the Nether as fuel in your furnace to smelt cobblestone - the resulting smooth stone will be much more resilient.
You can survive a fall from any height without much if any damage if you land on a block of wool that has water directly under it.
A full set of diamond armor allows you to wade through shallow lava. After all, diamonds don't melt like iron and gold, and don't burn like leather.
36. Lava repairs armor if it is enchanted. Just toss your armor into a pit of it.
37. The ender Dragon is friendly and wants wants to hug you.
Remember to number these

Since hostile mobs only spawn in the dark, this means that they're sensitive to light. You can exploit this by building a "light fence" around areas you want to keep safe. Just surround an area you want to protect with glowstone blocks on the ground (the strongest light source), basically building a 1-block high wall of glowstone. Make sure that there are no gaps; each glowstone block has to be adjacent to another one. Once you're done, you won't have to worry about mobs wandering beyond that light fence anymore - they will even stop chasing you if they reach that barrier.
When you arrive in the Nether, immediately deconstruct the portal there to prevent creepers following you through. If creepers make it to the Nether, you're in BIG trouble. Simply deactivating the portal in the Nether doesn't work because it'll still be active on the other side, i.e. the normal world. And due to the Nether's weird in-game physics, you can't use a diamond pickaxe; only a wooden pickaxe can mine obsidian in the Nether.
You can pacify a creeper by detonating a TNT block while you're cbeing hased. The creepers will get confused and think you're one of them, leaving you alone.
You can't spend more than 30 levels of experience when enchanting an item, unless you save enough experience to make it to level 99 (the highest level achievable). If you enchant an item at level 99, the item will become unbreakable, meaning you'll never lose it.
If you equip a wooden half-slab, you can use it as a shield to block arrows fired from skeletons.
Hostile mobs will ignore players that are using skins matching the monster type, i.e. zombies will ignore players with a zombie skin, and so on.
If you use the Master Chief skin and then kill another player with the Grunt/Unggoy skin by shooting arrows at his head, you will hear the same "YAAAY!" sound when that player dies like you hear in Halo when you kill a Grunt when the Grunt Birthday Party skull is turned on.
If you spend a night in a village and kill all the hostile mobs that spawn in and around that village, the villagers will give you gifts in the morning.
There's an easter egg in Minecraft (only the Xbox 360 Edition, not the PC game) that allows you to build portals like in the games Portal and Portal 2. However, this only works if you've gained at least one achievement in Portal that comes with The Orange Box, Portal: Still Alive (the XBLA game), or Portal 2. First, dig out a 3x2 hole that's three blocks deep. Surround that hole with obsidian blocks; you must leave the corners free and thus only need 10 blocks (3 at each side, 2 each at the bottom and top). Do the same at another location. Secondly, connect these obsidian frames with redstone dust and redstone torches; after every 14 redstone dust you place, put down a torch and continue with another 14 redstone dust, and so on. Thirdly, you have to empty six buckets of water into an obsidian frame so that you get a smooth and still surface. This is done by aiming at one of the sides of the frame (where three blocks are next to each other) and emptying a bucket; repeat that at the other side. This will become your blue portal. Now do the same with six buckets of lava at the other obsidian frame. Finally, double-check the line of redstone dust and redstone torches connecting the two portals; if the connection is interrupted, i.e. even only one piece of redstone dust isn't powered, the portals won't work. Once you've checked that everything is OK, you can now travel from one portal to another. BE CAREFUL, THOUGH. Mojang, or rather 4J Studios, took a small precaution to prevent this easter egg from being discovered by switching the order in which you first have to jump into the portals. If you remember, the first portal gun you acquired in the original Portal game was the blue one. This means that - since the order is reversed - you have to jump into the orange portal first.

Is it a chicken or is it a duck? - It's a chuck, because dicken sounds stupid.
52. If you throw a diamond at fire you will make blue fire!
53. If you throw 12 arrows at a 90° degree angle and then jump 5 times and then wait 12 seconds, you will be able to fly in survival.
54. If you are being chased by zombie pigman and you take out your golden sword they will stop chasing you because they will think you are one of them.
55. The lava in the nether behaves like water in the overworld and viceversa,
56. To tame the ender dragon you need to give him a stack of eyes of ender and when you have tamed it you will be able to put a saddle on him and be able to ride it!
57. If you use the new ender dragon skin pack in the end, you can be healed by the crystals in the end.
58. The most efficient way of killing the enderdragon is by making an army of 32 iron golems and then wait until the golems kill the dragon
59. If you make a 3x3 cube of diamond blocks and in the center put the ender dragon egg and then make a 5x5 cube of TNT around the cube of diamond blocks and the ignite all the TNT at the EXACT same time, you will hatch the ender dragon egg and you will have a baby ender dragon that you will be able to tame.
65. When you're being pushed into a pool of water by lava.. make sure to crouch... once you're safely at the edge of the block un-crouch and walk sideways to safety!

I'm so full of it (bad advice) maybe we should start stack number 2. No puns intended.
66. Only use the forums to complain about what xbox version doesn't have yet.
67. If someone else is making a good point that disagrees with your view attack them personally. That will prove your superiority.
68. The lava under the end portal will take you to the end if you jump in.
69. You can't really make anything interesting with redstone so don't try.
1- Ghast fireballs are attracted to armor. Take it off when you enter the nether.
2- Leave fire spreads on if you have a fireplace in your wood house. That way the flame won't go out.
3- Before trying to tame a wolf hit it to get it's attention.
4- To get lots of friends and have fun grief people.
5- Creepers vision is motion sensitive so if you see one don't move.
6- Hostile mobs can be intimidated so when entering the nether kill a zombie pigman first thing.
7- You can duplicate TNT by shooting it with a flaming arrow then jumping up and down on it. If it doesn't work you didn't jump fast enough.
8- To add Flame 1 to an enchanted diamond sword place it on burning netherrack.
OK we only need 56 more to make a stack(64 items) of really bad advice.
Left click a wolf with a feather and it will grow wings! only if its not tamed.
Mobs don't fight you if you have a pumpkin on your head, so if you see one put one on!
Though it takes longer mining diamonds with a wooden pick gives you double the diamonds
Sand makes a really good roof
