So I used to use a hdmi cable to play Minecraft, never had a problem until my hmdi cable stopped working, tried the cable on something else it worked fine, tried a different cable on the xbox still didn't work. So had to switch to the hd video component (red, white, red, blue, green) and no matter what resolution I put it on there is either green lines, a flickering screen, or really fuzzy. My tv is 720p and on that setting it flickers and is fuzzy. So I am now out of options on what to do. I have 2 kids who love minecraft and right now they are stuck on playing single player or playing with a messed up screen. Can someone please suggest a different cable or maybe a solution to my problems? Thanks!
Sounds like a bad cable connection at the back of your Xbox. If you're using controllers that are connected via cables, kids can accidentally pull on the Xbox when they get excited playing. Check for a bent or loose pin where the cables connect to the Xbox.
