The game has become very boring. I have all the achievements, multiple legit survival worlds where I have done everything I could have (diamond enchanted armor, mastered the end, mastered the nether, great house, great show off of redstones, huge farms, super secret rooms, even a underwater base with underwater redstone)
There's nothing to do. If I do creative after building something, it's like, now what... You can't start an RPG or something.
We need a new way to play mc xbox 360 edition. Like the adventure gamemode. Or just a lot more obstacles, like more mobs, rotting of wood, dust, thirst, illness, natural disasters (volcanos, earthquakes, waves, etc) , maybe storms can be more realistic, I feel like playing the pc version for all this but I don't pay for the account anymore and all the mods for this stuff absolutely sucks.
Any tips of what to do now?

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
Try recreating Skyblock in superflat. If you flood the ground with water, you wouldn't have to worry about mobs spawning (Just trying to make it as close as I can to the PC's Skyblock). You can even flood the Nether using Ice (and then going into survival and breaking the ice).
I'm really enjoying my Skyblock survival world right now.
The weather is nice... go for a walk, take up gardening or competitive cycling.
Yes, this has been a long stretch without a major update, so if the game is getting boring for you, just even play a different game while you wait. It should be quite clear to everyone by now that demanding more and more features more and more quickly is just something that's pretty much going to fall on deaf ears. They have an update plan and a schedule... and they're stickin' to it.
Not really all that bored... I am easily entertained...lol
despite that fact I do generally cycle between an assortment of entertainment beyond minecraft and games alone. After all who wants to ruin their eyes on a screen for too long when there are sometimes other things that can be done or need to be done.
This update may be taking a bit longer, but I don't mind, as that means quite a bit is going to be put in. That is a lot if I am right going from what we have to 1.2.3, if not further with extra stuff beyond that. Patience. Something I think I have too much of at times...><

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I've felt that you should never force yourself to play a game... I do agree with skyblock being cool... It gets stale after a bit but sure does provide some good entertainment... Also Flatland survival is an option... There's other things to rather than survival and what not... But at this point we seem to be quite a bit away from the next major update so maybe it's time to pick up another game for a bit... or like UpUp said...go for a walk or something.

I personally think that you played way too much minecraft. I got really bored of my legit 1.7.3 world because I didn't have the new stuff. So I started on the world where I had the End beat in 7 hours and worked on it a few days ago and now i'm hooked onto it. I thought I played too much but I guess not enough where I continued in a whole new way. You should plan something for yourself. Build something insane. Go beyond the standards of building. I'll name 3 things what you should build. 1. Floating island 2. Under Water City 3. Rainbow with a big pot of gold at the end of it
Don't make it simple, like I said, go beyond the standards of building.
Edit: I went to the end and beat it. Took me a total of 7 hours to get there and beat it. lol sorry if I confused you!
what you need to do now that villagers are in the game make a big town like huge and make sure you have a lot of villagers like im building a hobbit themed village connected to what would be a castle. go BIG!
Try a different aspect of the game. Maybe play with your friends. I've been playing a raid server with my IRL friends. I can trust them and we have set rules and no one gets upset if something happens or mad at each other. Its close enough to be a raid server and we all have fun. I used to just practice building and play in one world. Then moved on to just beating the end in hardcore survival worlds. Bottom line, if you haven't done something in the game try it, see if you like it.
I played intensively for a while, I'm just tired of the boring look of minecraft The game itself is fun but looking and the same low res textures day in and day out gets boring the textures never really help in making a build look good especially when a lot of glass is involved. I'm waiting for the texture packs to come out then I'll be all over minecraft again
Besides the texture packs I'm also waiting for Iron Golems, villager trading, and 1.5 PC RedStone, and hoppers.
My problem this time around is that I was just thinking about starting a new world, and then they announced the new update with the jungle biomes and all that good stuff. So I'd basically already decided I was "done" with my current world, but now I don't want to start a new one until the update. So I'm just taking a break until I can play with cats in minecraft.
I went through this same thing awhile back and took 6 months off from the game and came back to find out that it had changed quite a lot. I just started up another world to check out the crafting and alchemy aspects of things and the fortresses and stuff. It helped because I had done everything I could think of doing in my previous world and then some. It really helped make the game exciting again and made playing by myself okay again.
AND...in the 6 months I took off I ended up landscaping the backyard and putting in a garden and learned how to crochet at something other than a beginner level. Totally worth Minecraft abstinence.

I am a Minecraft tourist. I am currently unavailable under the XBoxLIVE ID listed here but can be found under ZombieL0C0. If you see me online playing Minecraft, send a message and I will gladly take a stroll through your world.

wait.. vivamommy. i was wondering where you had been. lol. apparently crocheting... had to finish your glass lava lighthouse on my world. which has changed quite a bit.
man iim almost never bored. though i do a lot of mega builds and they take up qute a bit of time and i have very little so usually i end up spending like maybe a fw hours a day if im lucky minerafting. and i always have more and more ideas like im currently working on a battleship game with a game board and exploding sound affects when you hit a ship. thats a sde project away from my main world where theres a giant game of thrones style castle. a steam punk world and a few other areas.

Yeah, I dropped off xbox entirely for awhile and I am sorry I didn't finish that building, I try to be better than that. lol I'm surprised you're still working on the same world though. I'll have to hop on over and take a look. I'm still a Minecraft tourist!

yea. i got lot of worlds and projects. but this one has a special place in my heart. mostly i havent had much time to finish my big projects and i took a hiatus from mineraft too when me and my clan had a falling out.
and its all good. u finished the house and i built a small one like it so now its a little village area. and the tower laval lamp um.. thing.. looks really good. still havent figured out the road up to it yet.. but i hate roads. lol.
I just recently started building a big roller coaster, it held my attention for a few weeks but how its sitting unfinished. I tend to start epic projects then get bored of them and just want them finished.
You obviously already have a lot of help and I agree that getting away from video games would be the best thing to do, but I will tell you somethings I do when I am bored, one time I made a city world with huge skyscrapers a zoo and a bunch of stuff (which was in creative), I also recently took up making maps from other video games and if its a war game I made classes that are a lot like mine and my friends in the actual game.

But that's ok, my other games need some love too.
