Halo and minecraft are the only things the Xbox one has running for it right now... I don't think thats enough to make me buy a super expensive console that's incredibly strict.
How can anyone get mad at Microsoft for making Minecraft better? if it wasn't for them Minecraft would have never been introduced to the console in the first place and half the people here would of never got the chance to play =/ I cant wait for Xbox one. Besides it doesn't come out till November so just pre order it now and put 20 bucks down on it every week and your golden
All I know is good job Microsoft the system looks amazing and its Mechanics are far above its time =]
remember this you have 6 months till this thing comes out start saving =p
*Sigh* I watched the trailer sadly, because the X-box one is too expensive, and my dad says he wants the next generation to come out. Anyways, I think the bigger worlds are going to be AWESOME!
I would like to see a discount for minecraft on XBOX1 myself. 10% off if you had it for xbox360 and another 10% off if you have it for PC. Sorry I just dont feel like buying the same game 3 different times at full price.
I agree, discounts would be nice; and some bundles and promotions will probably happen at some point in time. Still, $20 really isn't all that expensive for a game of this complexity.

Well if you get paid you can get it in a few days even if you get paid $200/Day(That less) Well i don't get paiD.
So, what I'm seeing is that, at least from the trailers, the MCXB1E is going to get texture packs. So, the XB-1 (I'm abbreviating the XBox One's name so I don't have to type out it's name all the time) version of MC gets TPs and the MCXB360 version doesn't? Did I miss something?
I'm already unhappy about the XB-1 for several reasons:
Price of the console.
Design of the console (it looks like a freaking cable box).
Always having to have the Kinect plugged in to be online (the Kinect was a freaking joke to begin with which is why I never bought one).
No backwards compatibility with previous Xbox and Xbox 360 games (Even if they re-release the Xbox and Xbox 360 games in the Games on Demand section, I absolutely refuse to repurchase games I already have).
Their convoluted way of handling used games (they mucked up an otherwise simple process so badly it makes my head hurt).
These points alone are enough to make me flip MS the Bird and stick with my 360.

A) no internet so I cant buy one (connects at least once a day) thanks to my cheating exwife im over the price of a xb1 short every month.
c) huge privacy concerns

Backwards compatability hasnt been great on many things for a while though.
And to make it diskless (and thus faster and blu ray read speeds arent that great) they were bound to have some sort of DRM in there

Then don't release disks at all or make it like the xbox 360 where you need the disc to play.
They did it on purpose so they could control everyone's gaming experience how they wanted to. Luckily Sony announced they would not be doing any of that I really wish mojang would make a ps4 version .

this is the same sony where there would be no DRM at all, and then oh no what we mean is the game producers can put what ever DRM they want on them...

After the recent backlash on Microsofts policies I doubt producers would be foolish enough to do that . I anticipate atleast 70-80% drm free games (not online all the time etc.)
And if they do atleast we have the choice to not buy and buy something else that doesn't have it . That's what it's all about I like to have a choice. On the xbox you have no choice as for right now. I love Microsoft I have since the original xbox it sucks to see this new console with these bad policies . I really really hope they end up taking it off the system .
I think its great they are making MC for Xbox One, but I've worked on my world for nearly a year and theres no way im starting it all again, so I will just continue to play on the Xbox 360.
If they allow the Xbox One to load 360 maps in the future (which I wouldnt think would be that hard), then I would probably switch to Xbox One MC.

Erm, yes and beyond the fact you will need to sell second hand games at particular retailers (because of the fact the game gets installed the game needs to be unregistered to its current account) Its up to publishers what DRM or costs they put on their games for the XBOX too.
Xbox One is a joke. As far as I'm concerned, Microsoft has really outdone themselves this time. (not in a good way)
As for Minecraft... It's an XBLA game, so I think it would be possible to load your 360 world on the XB1. It might even be the case that if you already purchased XBLA games on 360, you will already own them on your XB1, since it is linked to your XBL account, which will be the same on XB1. No backwards compatibility necessary.
This is all just speculative opinion though.
I will not be purchasing an XB1. At least not until they get rid of the privacy invading, always-on/always-connected kinect.

F*CK THE NSA!!!
the XBLA games arent compatable across systems we have known that for ages.
