I have an argument that needs settling before I go nuts. My wife doesn't seem to acknowledge the effects of the potion of swiftness while in creative mode, no matter how much I show her in deep comparison that it does. She just keeps on about how it doesn't do anything but make your view wider and put bubbles in your face. Is there any sort of way to show her bonafide proof that she couldn't possibly argue with?
lol tell her to fill a flat world with lava or water without it and you do one with it and then the time that you save can be traded off for more "non minecraft related activities" you'll be in for a good time! It helps all the way.... Sounds like my girl who says she sees not discernible difference between HD and non-HD tv..... clearly she's blind as a bat!

Do a block laying race. Go into superflat and take your potion. Star laying blocks. Or mine them. You will win. Perhaps your wife doesn't max out the potion before use?
Go into Splitscreen on Creative Mode. You take the potion, she doesn't. Then you both sprint fly to the other end of the map or a predetermined place. Obviously, you'll get there first and she won't be able to say that anymore.
