Yeah hopefully after minecraft is not supported anymore they will add player content (alterations) (wont say the word)
I mean if the game is dead then why wouldn't we be able to.
But until then my good ol' 360 will be fun. I might give PC a chance but honestly, I dont know if I will game much in the future. Its really not the community it used to be. Well it is...but the corporations aren't.
Just some extra info:
They will have their own jack on the controller so that 3rd parties cant make hardware/money off xbox.
So you want a trident? You want a Turtle Beach? They will have to sign a contract with microsoft and will most likely cost ALOT more now.
Next up is the hallarious law suit. A guy bought xboxone.com and xboxone.net before the game was even thought of. Then instead of buying the domain from the guy (whos been paying to maintain the sites) Xbox decided to sue him. bullies much?
Another blunder, on the windows page they showed the game killzone as one of their esclusives when its a PS4 GAME. Xbox wont have killzone at all.
I could go on and on about how much this company is failing (canceling the E3 roundtable, disabling youtube comments, constantly contradicting each other, several employees have been fired/resigned over the dumb actions lately, but when it comes down to it. None of the gaming companies next gens look any good at all...Microsoft just happens to look the worst right now.
They did a poll recently after the reveil and 75 percent didn't like it.
There has been nothing but bad press on bad actions by this company.
And everyone says "wait till E3" well, the fact that they canceled the round table tells me two things:
Either:
1) the will revamp the whole system and change some of the things we've said we wanted changed.
or the more likely one...
2) They will show us some flashy games and think we'll forget that the system sucks.
All and All I'm most likely getting Alienware when I have the cash.
This should be retitled: "It was fun while it lasted, but we brought this on ourselves!"
* The publishers are sick and tired of all the piracy going on. (Yes, piracy, though some call it "lending", "borrowing", and "trading"). If you think the publishers are only picking on MS and letting Sony get away scott free- you go another think coming!
* Of course you have to hook to the internet- if you want all the advantages and features that doing so offers. To lament that you "have" to be hooked to the internet once a day is beyond ridiculous. What are you going to do- refuse to hook internet? Sure you are….
* Same with having to "have" Kinect hooked up. Now that everyone has it (you don't have to buy it separately, BTW), the game designers can account for it. But just because it's hooked up doesn't mean you have to use it. It's just part of xbox, just as hooking to a TV is.
If you're thinking you're gonna get "Poor Baby's" from me, think again. Change is not only coming- it's here. You just can't have the freedom you've had up to now anymore. You can't have it the 'old' way anymore.
And you've brought this all on not only yourself, but all of us. So all of you griping that you can't "lend" games to your friends anymore- thanks, I appreciate it…. not! You guys have screwed over everyone.
I'm not what you'd call a "MS fan"- I own both consoles.
But if you think Sony is not gonna do some things to tick you off royally also, you got another think coming. You just haven't heard of it yet… but you will.
So the question is not which console you like the best- it's gonna be which one you hate the least.
Bill Gates has nothing to do with the Xbox One. He isn't even the CEO of Microsoft anymore.
No one ever stops and looks at this logically. Do you really think Microsoft would be doing half of this if Sony wasn't doing something similar? They know that if they were the only ones doing this that the entire next gen console cycle would go to Sony. I'm putting my money on the PS4 having many of this similar things as well.
The only thing Sony has definitively talked bout is that the PS4 can be played completely offline. They haven't said next to anything about used games, etc, etc. I would put money on it that Sony is letting Micrsoft take all the heat for this and come E3, they announce a very similar set of things for the PS4. Yet no one will think twice because all the nerd rage was taken out on Microsoft. It's a very clever business move actually.
Microsoft has already said that "fee" for used games isn't coming from them, it's coming from the publishers and developers. Microsoft has no part in the fee and will take no money or percentage from it. Publishers will choose the approved retailers, the fee price, etc, etc. Some may not even charge a fee to the retailer. It's more of a "it's there if you wanna take advantage of it" thing.
I've also never understood peoples complaints about all the multimedia stuff you can do on the Xbox One. Both my PS3 and Xbox 360 do nearly all of that short of watching live television.
