I really like stone half slab's look as a floor so I like making them and putting them on top of each other to make the height same as a full block, my question is are they still consider half slab? meaning would hostile mob still be able to spawn on top of them?
Mobs can spawn on them becaus it counts as 1 full block.

just like the half slab wooden plank block wont catch on fire, but when you double stack them they act as a normal wooden plank block and can catch on fire
I think that may have been changed Wolf. I believe when we got colored woods they changed the coding for wooden half slabs to reflect that they are wood, instead of being stone with a wood texture. That is why old wooden slabs required a pick axe to break, while new wooden slabs need a wood axe. My point is BE CAREFUL! I'd hate for someone to have a nasty fire. I'll check into this when I get on tonight.
