I am confused about the drop limit on minecraft xbox 360. I have heard that it is 200, but when I harvest my automatic wheat farm which has around 100 spaces some wheat and seeds disappear, when I destroy a double chest that is full of cobblestone none disappear. Why does this happen, knowing that a full chest clearly has over 200 items?

Stacks of 64 items (or 16, as the case may be) are considered one item when the entire stack is dropped after being formed. Wheat harvesters drop individual wheat and individual seeds (i.e. they aren't already stacked).

In addition to what UpUp_Away said, 100 wheat slots can easily go over the two hundred limit because sometimes you get multiple seeds as well as the wheat.

Let's explain it in more detail.

You have a farm that harvests 100 wheat. When wheat breaks it will drop 1 wheat and anywhere from 0 to 3 seeds. say you break one wheat and it drops the 1 wheat plus 3 seeds. That one thing just turned into 4 drops, not 1. That is what is happening to your farm. You are harvesting 100 wheat that all count as 1 wheat PLUS the 0 to 3 seeds that may drop. That is what you didn't take into account.

Ohh I understand now, I forgot that more than 1 seed can drop each time... but thanks for clearing up my confusion.
