I've been reading about why Minecraft Xbox 360 edition does not have the infinite world, it is because the Xbox 360 does not have enough RAM only 512MB.
But as the Xbox One will have up to 8GB RAM, 4J Studios would make infinite worlds?, If they wanted to continue on that console.

They'd have to completely rebuild the game to put it on the new Xbox. It's possible though, and the worlds would be a lot larger.
The "infinite world" nuts crack me up. They make it sound like if the 360 version had infinite worlds it would be the Perfect Game and they'd Happy Dance forever.
IF 4J came up with a xbox 1 minecraft, it wouldn't be Minecraft as we know it. They'd basically have to rewrite the game all over again to take advantage of the new capabilities, and 'infinite worlds' would be at the bottom of the list. And IF you're going to rewrite it, then there's so much improvement in graphics, animation, and other features they could/would/should do while they're at it.
Imagine taking MC and have the ability to do virtually anything you want to do with it instead of what you're limited to.
Imagine having a lot of mods (but way cooler than the existing ones) already included.
Imagine deeper, taller, prettier, more diverse worlds with more natural and weather features.
Boggles the mind.
Anyway, you'd have to have another version of MC- the 'old' one that runs on the 360, and a 'new' one that runs on xbox 1.
I see absolutely no reason to convert the old MC to run on the new xbox unless they make some major improvements. Otherwise, just leave it on the 360.
Personally, I think they'll be a 'new' MC, and it will blow your mind.
"Infinite worlds"…. phhuuuut.
