hey guys need help on a question i thought of a random seed for mcx360 and was mainly a water world with a few islands but no sugar cane, searched the whole map by boat but none. Can you find sugar cane in spawner chests or abandoned mineshaft chests??? thx for the help!
i don't think I've ever encountered sugarcane in chests. However, don't lose heart, I have encountered it growing underground similar to how you can occasionally get the odd bit of tall grass growing on a dirt bllock underground near lava. If it's enchanting and not brewing speed potions that concerns you, you can get books from mining the bookshelves in your stronghold library and then remake these into bookshelves for your enchanting room... or else you can just put your enchanting table in your stronghold library and just move a few of the bookshelves around using pistons.
You're most-likely out of luck.
Sugar Cane will spawn underground, but the odds of finding it there are few-to-none, considering I've found it once in a year.
