so here is my problem I like to use soul sand around my docks ,but now when I run into the soul sand while in a boat I explode, literally explode! and then the respawn message says I hit the ground too hard ,what is going on? Is this just a glitch or what,if it is I guess just add it to the list because I am starting to notice more and more since I started playing some again
its funny because I made a boat elevator in flat lands (video of it on my channel) and it drops from block height limit to ground so that's 128 blocks and it does nothing now Roy_g says he ran into his dog and it exploded that just sound hilarious to me lol XD
And yes i did set to survival to see if it would kill me and it didn't =/

I've had two boats randomly "explode" when sailing in water that was 1 block deep. I never hit anything. However, I also haven't died yet when my boat has exploded even when I have hit the shore. Could it have something to do with the status of your health and/or hunger upon impact? Still, I now try to avoid sailing over waters where the depth is only 1 block.
This was something mentioned a while back, or well something similar. Related to moving boat run ashore glitch = instant death. So looks like they haven't ironed out all the boat glitches, or this one is of recent, I don't know. Now if this was intended I really have to wonder what were they thinking...
Of course this one seems to be more random than its' predecessor glitch. All I can say is careful where you decide to disembark your boat, it might mean your life. Boats in the game are pretty fragile as is. This just makes it more so...><
I just hope this one is fixed if it is not intended...:D
