Hello everyone! This is my first post on the Minecraft forums and it's really a pretty simple question/post.

I just recently started a new Survival game and the first couple of nights I stayed in a nearby NPC village so I could spend the days getting my resources. A few nights into my game I was standing inside my house crafting some items and organizing my chests and furnaces, when I looked out my side window and my jaw dropped. Standing outside right next to one of the NPC wheat crops was a HUGE Enderman! Now I'm more of a Creative and Peaceful mode kind of player so I normally don't see many mobs to begin with. I know that Enderman are usually 3 or 4 blocks tall, but I am 100% serious when I say this one was giant.

Before people get all critical, I will say that it wasn't massive like the Enderman people build in Creative mode, but it was at least 10-15 blocks tall because he towered over the wheat field. I will be honest and admit it startled me, so I backed away from my window instinctually. I crept back to the window and managed to catch one more glimpse of him before he teleported away. I've been looking all over the internet trying to find other people who have seen these giants and the only thing I can find are videos and articles about "How To Build Giant Enderman" in Creative mode. So I want to make sure I'm not crazy and see if anyone else has seen these oversized Enderman.

I'm really not trying to mess around or make stuff up, I know what I saw and it was way bigger than a normal Enderman! Please tell me I'm not imagining things!

You need to lay off of the drugs.

Enderman are 3 blocks high, period.

The fact that you don't have a screenshot (which is very quick and easy to take) indicates that your entire post indicates that you are either crazy or a liar.

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. Endermen are 3 blocks tall, and seeing one bigger wouldn't even make sense as a bug.

It was probably something like an optical illusion, he might have been closer than you thought making the enderman seem larger.

Never heard of a giant Enderman... Maybe a bug ...or maybe your just imagining things. I do that a lot too. But to see a giant Enderman... that would be AMAZING!! Endermen are my favorite mob!!

I play the 360 a lot and haven't encountered anything that bizarre.

I think I know your problem. Sometimes Endermen lag out and make them float. This can make them look like they are bigger than they are.

There is one rule on the drugs: just marihuana, the other gives you things that you say, so, just marihuana dude, chill out with the cracks and things like that man. ( feel like a gangter)

I know I should've taken a screenshot but I was in such shock (and a little bit of fear, won't lie) that I didn't think of it until he teleported away. Idk I was in my house and he was right next to the npc wheat field which is literally 3 blocks away from the side of my house. The wheat field and the floor of my house are the same amount of blocks tall. And this endermens head was at least 5 blocks taller than the wheat field but his feet were definitely on the ground below the field itself. I swear I'm not making this up, that's why I made the topic to see if anyone else has seen something similar. I will try and get a screenshot if i see one again because I promise I'm not trying to yank anyone's chain. It's possible that it was just a glitch. Maybe two endermen and one was behind the other one, but it looked like one oversized endermen to me.

As I said I play on 360 so I don't mod my games or anything, so I was really surprised to see something Like that. Also I definitely don't smoke crack lol. Thanks for the responses though. I'm going to make it a goal now to find this thing and prove I'm not insane haha.

(Can you only take screenshots and upload to Facebook on the 360 edition? I haven't seen any other options other than to post directly to FB)

It can't be a glitch, the model of an Enderman doesn't change. I think it was an opticall illusion, ya know, it was nighttime.

Your perspective probably made him look bigger.
