I bioshifted a desert the other day and the dirt on top of the biome on the edge of the map (next to the ocean) has about 20 of my dirt/grass blocks turn into sand and then the grass around the sand turns into tall grass?
...
Not sure about tall grass growing randomly.
Or dirt turning into sand.
But I have heard of when surrounded by lots more, smooth stone turning into gravel and stuff.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
I guess that bug isn't completely fixed... The first bit about the edge is a bug that was mentioned sometime in the last actual update. As for the tall grass thing, I have no clue on that one, unless that too was along the edge of the world. The edge of the world seems to need a lot of work these days...><

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

I've been using silk touch to put some greenery in my desert castle courtyard. I was skirting my tree-growing patch with it.... I was surprised to see that the dirt tiles absorbed the grass and spread -- rather quickly.
So all you need to do is just place a dirt tile next to a grass tile and it should go.
Hmmm... so does this mean, if left to its own devices, if a Minecraft world ran on its own for years and years -- the continent would eventually be nothing but grass? After all, once an Enderman drops a dirt tile next to a grass tile, it makes a spread of grassland... maybe that's what Endermen are REALLY up to....

Yes, the tall grass is right next to the sand. About 20 tall grass and 20 sand. Its happened 3 times now so I detroyed all the beach under and next to it and im going to see if its fixed now....haha

Haha...I used like 5 double chests to change it to grass lands and I only used one actual grass block so not to waste my silk touch....grass spreads REALLY fast.

I have a large house built on top of a floating mountain near the edge of the world and in one section my smooth stone floor turns to dirt when I log out and log back in. Not really sure what causes it but it sounds like the same bug happening.

sounds exactly the same, its puzzling because I have stuff built under the exact same place (glass panels to see the sunset underwater lol...
they have never changed, but the dirt is still turning into sand every once in a while, I think it might be when i log out, ill need to test that, if you haven't report your bug and ill report mine.

Is this a glitch or something I'm not aware of?
Thanks!
