Does anyone actually know why when you join a friend's world online, the map literally takes forever to load. I know in the PC Version its instant loading, but why does it take forever on Xbox?
Does anyone actually know why when you join a friend's world online, the map literally takes forever to load. I know in the PC Version its instant loading, but why does it take forever on Xbox?
PC runs servers, xbox runs off someones legit connection. Where a straight connection to a server is far different than hosting a game on xbox live. Not positive on this, it could just be xbox's hardware.
It's probably got something to do with the hardware and the limits of it, but I think it's mostly the connection. It's the host's upload speed and the guest's download speed. If you have a slow download speed, then no matter how fast the host's connection is, it'll bottleneck and be slow getting to you.
