Except for self respect.. You drop that.. you lose it instantly! But yeah what ^^^ said 5 mins. One thing I've wondered is if Auto-Save time calculates into the 5 mins.. probably doesn't.

Lol... You also instantly lose anything over the limit - 200 drops on the go at any one time, max.

I didn't know this. Good thing I just learned it because im planning on moving my chests soon. I was going to just break them and have everything spill on the ground.

Keep in mind though that stacks of items count as 1 item for the entire stack, so a broken double chest that had every slot full will drop a maximum of 54 items. Even so, I prefer to create an empty double chest first, place that in the new location, empty the old chest directly into my inventory, and then empty by inventory into the new chest. This can be done very quickly just using the Y button.
