2965641169763499757. I forgot to mention at one point i spawned in a location with a small amount of soul sand and netherwart in a small area of the map, but when i dug around it was indeed still the same map. is it possible for me to use the seed number to make another copy in creative mode? or would it only allow me to use it once per console?
You can use the seed number to create as many new worlds of that same seed string as your hard drive will hold. The thing is, if there has been an update between the time you first created your world and when you create another using the same seed string, the overworld of the the new world you create will definitely be different than your original since the terrain generation code for the overworld has changed with almost every update we've had so far. Think of the seed string as the variable and the terrain code for any particular update as the formula. If you plug the same variables into the same formula, you get the same result every time. If you plug the same variables into a changed formula, you'll get a different result.
The nether works the same way. The only difference is that the nether terrain generation code hasn't changed that much (only when soul sand was first added), but the part that generates the fortresses has been changed. Fortress were first added and then their generation was later altered in an attempt to ensure generation of blaze spawners and netherwart in each fortress. Then, the terrain generation code was changed to allow netherwart to spawn randomly. The nether reset uses the seed string, but plugs it into the most recent nether terrain generation formula. So, if you have an old world that was created before the last change in the nether took effect, resetting the nether will give you the most recent nether FOR THAT SEED STRING. Therefore, it would have soul sand, it would have a fortress using the second generation code, and it would have random netherwart. Resetting again without an update happening in between, just gives you a new copy of the same nether again and again and again.
That's why, I could create wolfe's seed the other day and still have a valid duplicate of his reset nether. The overworld of the seed I created, however, would not match wolfe's old overworld at all.

There is a netherwart garden inside nether fortress is located at X40, Y62, Z27 (nether coordinates). Placing your nether portal in the overworld at X108, Y72, Z172 should land you on a patch of soul sand that also has some netherwart. It is just outside your nether fortress right near a blaze spawner and the netherwart garden inside the fortress. There is another large patch of netherwart at X15, Y64, Z74 and even more at X-73, Y62, Z110 (nether coordinates).
I'm done... should be enough there to easily keep you stocked up on potions.

Thank you guys, ive found the fortress. Made my potion stand and made a netherwart farm in my overworld. Now im researching enderman farms. Or atleast good ways to kill them without getting hurt.
