Hey, so im making a slender replica map as a mini game for youtube. Now i came across a problem though. The map is done, and i encased it in bedrock, but durning daytime outside, the trees are all lit, and there are these light spots on the celing. Any way to remove it?
----------
I tried butting more layers of bedrock, even grass, nothing worked..
-----------
or will it be fixed in the bug fix?
OP: Have you tried putting a light source there and removing it? That's all I can think of to make it go away...(I've had a similar issue with fire after burning down a forest but my light "trick" didn't work at all...So maybe it has to do with what they did to lighting?)

Unfortunately this can be a very irritating problem.
The sources of light are coming from the sunlight that didn't quite update correctly.
You need to find and block over each "light source," which can be very annoying in large amounts.
I thought you were indicating the glitch I'm having, randomly when mining, the area stays pitch black, I'll place a torch, and it will be the only thing I can see on a black wall.

turn off fire spread, light a block in the mass on fire, put out the fire... light is updated (for the black mass at least, i'm unsure about the problem the OP has, never encountered it.)
Ok I get the original quirk, but with redstone torches. All off my rail is powered, usually from underneath. It is completely encased. And what do I see on a dark and rainy night? Light splotches on my unotherwise unlit rail bed. Haven't tried fixing yet as I've got to get piers down underneath the rail bed around the entire map.

That doesn't really help the issue at all....

Just cover the spots where the light is coming from with blocks and then when the light goes away just knock out the blocks.

Yes, thanks i figured it out earlier.... haha
I have that too.
What do you do to fix it?
