Nope... Still not even close to finished. Well, pretty close in comparison to how long it has taken. But I still see at least another month of work, and that's just construction. That's not even including the horrific task of bug testing. I'm thinking about allowing beta testers in my world when I'm not around, and they could post any bugs found on the thread. (or in XBL message[s] if they don't have an account here) It will be interesting to see how many people get to play with it before a griefer comes along and destroys everything.
-snip-
depends on how long it takes me to become a beta tester... ... but seriously, i know how long you've been working on it, and would never ruin it... (though i'd probably encourage you to turn off auto-saves and lace it with TNT so it blows up as a frustration release after you complete it)
(though i'd probably encourage you to turn off auto-saves and lace it with TNT so it blows up as a frustration release after you complete it)
I never have autosave on to begin with. But yeah, that was definitely planned as I'm 100% sure it will be griefed at some point if I allow randoms. I would like to have applications of some sort, but there aren't a lot of people who know how to program machine code using my own instruction-set, (Which nobody besides myself is familiar with in the first place. [Hell, I'm not even used to it yet. {I've been using a lot of brackets today. I'm not even sure if this is grammatically correct anymore, yay!}]) and bug test a CPU. I'm not going to put up linear rules or anything. I'll let people do anything they want with it, and give a brief tutorial on how to find the error when something goes wrong.
Basically, one will have to watch the program line by line. If the instructions read from line 0 lead to expected results, manually tick the clock input of the program counter and check line 1. Eventually you find the line where the issue lies, and from there it's an educated guessing game, and checking those suspicions.
For example, a line reads REG 0 [1000 1100 0101 0111] to bus A, and REG 5 [1100 0110 1011 1010] to bus B, and writes to ALUin. ALUin is a large 32-bit register that handles values from both buses to improve efficiency. The least significant bit outputs to input y of the ALU, the bit directly greater outputs to x and the basic pattern repeats. (bus A leads to a space for input y, and bus B leads to input x, so it's a bit counter-intuitive) Let's say this register reads [0100 0000 0101 0000 0001 0001 0001 0101], we know that nothing is being sent to input x. This could be a problem with ALUin itself, but it's doubtful. It could be an issue with the memory cells that make up REG 5. It could be an error involving REG 5's read function to B; perhaps signal strength being too low or misplaced torches. It could be the write function of REG 5, or even the writing bus itself. It could be the unary output from the decoder which selects REG 5 to be written to. It may even be the decoder itself, mislabeling or building errors. It could lead all the way back to the opcode, possibly even the PRAM itself. And, of course, it could be user error and the program was written incorrectly in the first place.
That's just one example out of the ridiculous amount of functionality XENON has. Yeah... testing is a huge pain. I would rather let players use the machine as it's meant to be done and uncover bugs along the way. If someone doesn't want to go through the trouble of hunting down the error, or they simply can't find it, they could also just send me the bitcode here or in a message and I can track it. There will also be provided a basic programming tutorial.

also you should back it up when your done... a couple of times. just in case it gets damaged beyond repair.
i wish we had map sharing. so we could dupe the map and tinker with it. it'd help noobs like me understand how it works better.
a lot of the cool things I've built were on creative. Mostly because the survival mode things were just plain grinding to collect wool etc (I never learned to dupe), so I vowed not to waste my time with the boring part and get to the building in Creative, when I want to make something fancy.
Things I made:
Boeing 757 (64 meters long, to scale)
Cheyenne Mountain entrance and StarGate control booth (had a working shutdown switch until the latest update killed it)
Goa'uld mother ship (not to scale, from the Star Gate movie)
Star Gate in the desert (nether portal, steps, stereotypical SG1 set)
X301 fighter from SG1
Bridge to nowhere (suspension bridge from land to the world edge with jagged destroyed end)
Neighborhood of every house I ever lived in (approx to scale, floorplans and interiors decorated)
castle/city on a hill (reminiscent of Minas Tirith)
DS9 Runabout (copied from some PC star trek build)
ISS (105 meters long, to scale)
Space Shuttle in docking approach to ISS (to scale with ISS)
Classic Roman villa
blocky stone castle with working portcullis, boiling oil drop and murder holes
Roman Army camp
Island ranch (I had animals until TU7 despawned them)
I play survival so I don't really have anything that epic.
World #2
I have a castle, netherwart farm, floating Asian Mansion, Castle, HUGE farm, a Huge Slime Spawner, some cool houses, automatic farms, that kinda stuff.
World #1
This one has a Slime Spawner, Minecart system in the sky, central point in the middle, floating glass pyramid I'll build a Biome in, Trapped Spawners of all Kinds, Huge Farm, huge Netherbrick house, ect. BUT I stopped playing on it when I found my friends hidden hut that contained duped items. So, I can only vouch that I cooked the sand myself for the Pyramid, mined out most of the Netherfortress pillars, spent literally 7 days while sick mining with 3 Efficiency 4 unbreaking 3 diamond picaxes, and then used duped glowstone to fill in the floor. I found out later it was duped. Kinda depressing really.

Oh no, that's very depressing. Even for me and its not even my world. I had some guys try that on me once. Luckily I caught them and dropped the banhammer.
Well, I was gonna say my Ender Dragon statue from Deaddiablo/rantanrave1408's (why does he have two channels??) Enderdragon tutorial. It's pretty dang big, render distance doesn't cover it head to tail, because it's block to pixel, like crawfish said. I ended up being pretty unmotivated to finish it yet, though. He has everything but a back leg and wings. The back leg is done minus the details on it and I have the frame for the foot on it done. I could've had it done a month ago, but I got tired of the monotony and it stalled. I had been thinking about trying out Jagthunder1's modern navy creations (check out his channel, he's really cool!) but I watched one video of him walking around in his aircraft carrier (1:1 scale :o) explaining a couple of the rooms and stuff he was working on, like the room for the anchor chains, mess hall, etc. it's flippin' big, no joke. I wish we could get mods, the zeppelin mod would be so cool with a bunch of F/A-18's taking off and landing with the carrier sailing around now I'm all depressed i can't get it!!!
Anyways, that's probably my best, but I also made like a small jet airliner and a yacht, it's pretty cool.

Although my MCForum is SoarvivalistGizor, I usually go by SlabGizor117 or Slab. I made this account back when I was a fan more of Paulsoaresjr, rather then Etho.
World #3 for me, no Duping, no glitches, because its all done solo
An Enderman Farm made in Survival or Creative? I did mine in survival:
What's a world without a Mob Spawner? Built in Survival, not creative:
Ya I made mine in survival to. I built mine in the bottom of the void and as far out as it can go to maximize spawning, that why I didnt have to cover the whole end with water, only some of it. And i can keep adding levels as i get materials.
i also call it the snowy kingdom, this is being used in the YouTube series that i am currently making, so if things look out of place that's why. also in this Gdrive folder i will be placing others files that go with this, if you would like me to add a mod or to build something for you, please just email me at [email protected] in a little bit i will put the main castle type in a super flat world for you the use, if you are going to use any of these worlds in showcases or web videos please send me a like and do NOT destroy the big JE on all of my worlds.
to have lighting work right use biblocraft, and to make the people look like they belong also, use MCA, and for the power cores on the jumper use buildcraft
all buildings are made by me using block by block or buildcraft of structures of others i have made. also: i will continue to upload worlds into this file, so make sure to check regularly, once i am done with the one i am working on and i make the texture pack to go with them i will post it, for most of my future worlds make sure to have the most up to date Galacticraft installed or you will receive a lot of errors and/or you will fall to your death because the building your in will cease to exist, although i will try to put you somewhere where this wont happen but since i constantly improve my worlds this will not be a solid fact. also for a large part my worlds use a lot of memory so try to at least have 1 GB allocated to your game, that is what i always set mine at because most PC's can handle that amount of data. sorry if this seems to be a mouthful but i just want to put this out there so i don't get any complaints about these issues. I WILL be putting up my own thread for this and add a link to that thread in this one. this is my first post on the forums and my first publicly shared worlds so if you have any problems with this don't hesitate to email me at [email protected] thank you for your time. =)
ops i didn't realize till just a little while ago that this was for Xbox not for PC, forgive me. As i have said this is my first post so please dont judge me!
If one of the experts on this could tell me how to take this and turn it into its own thread, that would be much appreciated. =)
depends on how long it takes me to become a beta tester...

Retired StaffNot random, they form a pattern. These are to mark chunk boundaries. Each little L shape represents the corner of a chunk.
make it the best dang dirt house ever
I helped my friend make a dirt tower once.
I got grass to grow all the way to the top
