Yes, just like any other world, the tutorial world started with a basic world seed. Regardless of version, if you've started and then saved a tutorial world, the seed string/number will be displayed on the load screen when you go to reload that world. To start with the same terrain as a tutorial world, just write down that number string and create a new world manually typing that same number into the "seed" box. Note, however, that any of the added buildings and chests that 4J have put into their tutorial itself will NOT generate at all in the seed. The main tutorial area where you spawn in the tutorial is also an add-in by 4J and will NOT generate. The intial spawn point of the tutorial world seed is also different than the spawn point of the tutorial itself.
Converrsely, the tutorial itself runs, by default, as a survival world. You can just Press "B" upon initial entering the world to prematurely end the main tutorial and then just continue to play the world as you normally would. It may come up with the odd hint now and then; but these usually stop happening once your character has been exposed just once to those items. If a tutorial block comes up, you can usually always just press B to skip over it.
