i've been rolling this die for 3 hours and have never gotten higher than a 6.
please advise.
Lol - Did I not say "dice" (plural)?... perhaps your best game is slots or poker rather than craps? You do know that you can't win at craps if you only roll one die?
On a more "on topic" note - I actually think that randomization of the game is not completely random; but perhaps tied to the serial number of the Xbox itself. I have essentially never "rolled" a survival island seed on my own for, like, ever... but that is one reason why there are seeds lists...

i tried rolling 7 dice and get a value greater than 6 every time now. thank you.
what randomization is there based on box identity? seed generation does not seem very random in that the same seed gives the same result on different consoles.

I'm saying that when the game is allowed to generate a random seed, I'm suspecting that it may not come up with that random number completely randomly, but that the formula might be using other available variables (such as the Xbox serial number, but it wouldn't have to be exactly that since there are probably a number of other variable numbers in an Xbox that the game to call on - eg. leaderboard stats). Of course, I have no proof of this; but I think it is possible that, since there is also a bit of a game between the developers and the players, they might not be beyond "loading the dice" a little. Also, not being "completely random" is an well-known issue with computer random number generators in general.
Of course, when a player types in a seed string, they essentially override the random number generator and the game IS programmed to respond to the same number strings the same way every time (provided the update version is consistent). The only random factor remaining when the player types in a seed string it is that the developer cannot control what string they might select in their heads or from a seeds list.
Does one of your seeds include a complete village at least one or two IE: Butcher, Blacksmith, Church, Library, Large and small houses as well as wood huts and wheat farms?
6895240054341786032 - Contains 1 complete village and 2 others that are relatively complete as well, plus 1 smaller village. It also does have a mushroom biome (which I noticed you asked for in the seeds request list). It also as a good representation of forests, swamps, taigas, plains, oceans, a desert, river, and beaches. There are some hills, but nothing too extreme that I saw however. I haven't checked it out for spawners or stronghold and have to leave the Xbox right now.
ETA: OK, I snitched another couple of minutes... End portal is at X159, Y29, Z7. It is intact.
ETA: OK, now I'm really late... but the nether fortress is awesome! I'm using this seed!

Oh my thank you so much! I was about to test out the other seed offered here and I also rolled like 3 new seeds and was able to get churches but no 1 complete village but several came close. It's like making this topic has removed the bad luck or someone somewhere gave me coding. But thank you so much for this seed! I have to find the melon/pumpkin chest so I could have those as well Thank you again!
I thought villages changed themes with different biomes, I usually find churches on plain biomes and vast farmlands in deserts.
I might check these seeds out just to see what villages should look like.
Dessert villages, IE ones that are made from sandstone, aren't in the XBOX360 version yet.
