The only reason I bought Minecraft was to play co-op with my brother and friends, and when I updated to "Together" update, it said I needed a HD tv! When I don't have one! That's bull!
Why don't you do some research before spending your $20. It has been widely know that split screen only works on a HD TV. Sounds like you ripped yourself off $20. But hey, way to blame someone else for your own mistake. You will make it far in life with that sorry attitude.
It says in the description: An HDTV is required to play split-screen mode. Read please!
By the way, Mojang does not make Minecraft for the Xbox 360 version.
As if spending 20$ on minecraft is a bad thing. Even if you bought it for split screen you have one of the best games on the Xbox arcade and you're ungrateful for it?
$20 is like 30 minutes of work, not really a big deal...

Seriously though OP, an HDTV is pretty cheap these days. I'm guessing you're young, but you could even get a summer job pulling rye or something and have enough money for this within a week. If you're lazy, ask for an allowance and save up for a few months.
$20.00 is nothing. I dont make much and I still waste that at a restaurant or something. Also minecraft is the best $20.00 I spent ever. Even though they really need to start updating the game faster.
The same thing happened to me last week! I bought a CD, and it wouldn't work in my cassette player. I was furious!
I tried it in my 8 track player the slot was not wide enough then on my record player on 72 and the needle just ran across the cd for some reason and the connections just wont work, neither have a video connection.
Also, what the heck is the "Together" update?
It also CLEARLY states that an HDTV is required to play splitscreen. So you have NO reason to blame 4J or Microsoft for this.
