How to trade with vilagers?

Hey guys, how do you trade with villagers? Tried pressing L, but didn't work =/

Feel like this will be a very simple answer...

Don't know why people said that either. Neither Professions, Villager Breeding, or Trading are currently in the Xbox 360 Edition.
