Now that we are able to reset the nether I was wondering if anyone knew if we could create a end portal in old maps that actually will work. I know I just went into creative mode on an old map and set one up and then I saved and tried to actually use it on Survival. It didnt work. I am not sure I built it exactly right. I had the lava on the bottom and the 4 sets of 3 blocks on each side. I would love to be able to get one up and working in my old map. I know I personally was thrilled by the decision to reset the nether on older maps. It really makes old maps far more usable since we can brew and fight blazes etc.

1. End portal placed in Creative Mode does not activate To build an End portal in Creative Mode, the direction you are facing when you place the portal blocks is important. You should stand inside where you want to portal to be, facing outwards, when placing these blocks.
