One of the nifty things I learned from this forum is how to make an Egg Farm (create a tower with a suspended pool full of swimming chickens, which drops eggs around the clock). I made one with a delivery system (water stream) into my castle (so I didn't have to hear clucking around the clock too).
I've done this before, but this time, I have to put a 90 degree angle on the delivery stream. And the eggs are getting stuck on the corner. Anyone have a solution for this?
i would think maybe having the delivery system go the full 8 blocks the water can travel from source block, end right were you have a recessed source block in the corner to make the turn (see below in the spoiler for an example)
the cyan wool represents where the water from the 2nd source block enters. if you do it correctly, the first water stream would end right before the 2nd stream, and the 2nd stream starts up and does not connect to the first. may take you a few tries, but it should work.
Yeah when I have a problem with like a turn on a stream that's what ill do.
Also items seem to get stuck on the water "source block" since there is no flow there and also on water dropping vertically on the water to block contact point... so .. Even the above suggestions are good. Just go one back.. But yes a piston.. pistons solve everything!
Just don't push a water source block with a piston.. it removes the water.
