I wanna know how many blocks you guys build your house by EX: (7x7,9x9 etc...) and also how you decorate it. I need ideas my house is so boring

A single-room house is usually 9x9 to 12x12 with the corners being pushed in.
A larger-scale house varies per location and room type.

I like to just build a somewhat big house (40x40x20) I would have 4 stories and then just make rooms however big you want and try think try to think of stuff to fill the rooms up with.

Stuff like...

dining room
enchanting room
library
nether room
brewing room
dance room (jukebox with colored walls and floor)
throne room
tressure room
you could have indoor farms

Thats all I can think of right now.

I build my houses 20x15. I then build large stairs leading upstairs to rooms (Since I play with friends most of the time). Then under the stairs is a basement with a storage room filled with chest and a crafting room. In the crafting room I put a wall of furnaces and some lava around (It kind of looks like a blacksmith room).

I am taking a bit of a break from massive castles and making towers instead. The towers are nice because they have a much, much lower instance of a monster spawning in a dark corner (or in the middle of a large room), plus the easier upkeep.
