Just do what the pros do, generate a normal world, then you dig down to bedrock or slightly above, then clear out a large amount of space. (Or do what I did and try out clear out a quarter of the world underground and try to make a city of miners)
You input the seed your using and the coords you're out and it'll show you the chunks that slimes are in. I typically dig out four chunks worth of slime chunks and surround each chunk with fences then make a little house outside of the chunks and wait. I went AFK for about half an hour and ended up with roughly two stacks of slimeballs.
I still can't find any slime I used that site and still cant
You have to be below layer 40, just so you know. I prefer closer to bedrock. Don't forget to light up any nearby caves as well, dark caves stop them from spawning.

The good people, they always die. And the bad people do too...But the weaker people, the people like me, WE have inherited the Earth. -Morgan Jones
You may also have to wait a bit. They dont usually just instantly spawn. Not too mention that you have to be below layer 40 and in the correct slime spawning chunk.
Also you have to be further than 24 blocks away because mobs wont spawn inside that 24 block circle of you.
If you want you can add me and I will see if i can help you my gamertag is ctoxey. If you deside you would like my help send your world seed in a pm on xbox so I can find a chunk to use

Maybe you read the coordinates wrong and are in the wrong chunk.
