so im a little upset about this update. They skipped out on important things a few of us would have loved to have in the update. Sure its cool they added the end, but what about jungles? Or a Height Increase? 2 months and this is all they give us? Hopefully they actually but some work into the next update because this one isnt as well as we hoped.

they said they were going to give villager proffeshions, it didnt say it in update log, i hope its still there, and wood colours
but it is dissapointing its not on xbox till next month
"All that they give us"? They gave us updated terrain generation, a way to reset terrain in the nether, a new dimension, and a new boss mob. That's quite a bit of work for two months, plus all the features they brought forward.

I like all the stuff they are giving us in the update. Yeah, it sucks we aren't getting jungles or a height increase but we knew that for over a month. They said we weren't getting those even before TU8 came out. Rest assured we will get them at some point. Right now they might not be able to give us a height increase because of the memory limits. We won't have jungles until we get the increase because the trees are so tall.
As chikkabowWow said.. They have been working on the update a lot. So glad they've updated the terrain generation as well as the nether reset! I guess we just gave to wait until what I think the next update after this one. I bet villager profession and jungles will be added then.
I would love to see jungles added and have been looking forward to them since day one. That being said, we're still getting free content through updates long after the original game release, friends. Patience will serve us well.
I just hope we get these things at some point: The End reset(to fight the dragon again), anvils, height limit increased, world biomes reset, the Wither, wither skeletons for the nether, more enemies/craftables/ores, more enchants and potions, definitely jungles. Why do we need climbable vines if we don't have jungles.. Hmm.

I know right? Are we supposed to just climb those swamp trees? Hmm 6 blocks up woah. lol
I sort of agree. They shouldve added a little bit more things. I was excited about redstone lamps, anvils, and silk touch collecting ice. Turns out no. Idk if they didnt want to put it in the log or not.

I don't believe that anything above Y=128 is loaded the same as the build-able area. Kinda like the world shows water blocks beyond x/z = +/- 431, but that is area that can't be expanded into. Flying above 128 is kinda like flying into the void, except you don't take damage. It's only position data that the game has to keep track of up there. That's just a guess though.

The log has colored wood. It does not specifically say "Colored wood" it says "Added Spruce Planks, Added Birch planks. Added Spruce stairs, added birch stairs"

Yes that is true.The jungle trees aren't all that tall, but when spawned on a hill, it's pretty easy to get a tree over the 128 block limit. I have had jungle trees grow past that when that update came out for pc. The jungle biomes aren't that flat on there.
