Haven't see any posts about this. Pc and pocket versions are going to be getting this realms service soon. Haven't heard anything about it comming, or not comming to xbox. This would be a great thing for our version! It's a subscription service, but as long as its not too rediculously priced, I'm sure tons of people could open up servers. Just not sure how it would work with Microsoft. But even if they left the max players in the world at say 8, but allowed more to be allowed in. Like 100 people on the "white list" but only 4 or 8 in t a time. I think it would be great!
I feel it's not really nessassary. The current system works just fine, and the desciption of Realms seems to be as the XBLA system works as well (which is already a subscription service.)
This would be the equivilent to leaving your xbox on for 24 hours 7 days a week until it dies (You stop paying). I'd vote against it. We have something very good the way our MP is setup. Realms is basically what we have, a very simple way to play multiplayer with 1-10 (I don't know the limit) friends. As far as I know, there is a very low player cap.
I posted a topic on Realms a couple days back.... And the only people that would be opposed to it are 1.) People with no friends 2.) People with no money.
I run a semi 24/7 server... I like to have a place where people can build and play without the need for me/host to be on.... After already paying for another xbox and another gold membership and another copy of minecraft... A service like Realms would be awesome.

This would make you not need to leave your xbox on. Realms are like servers, or an always on world.
I feel this is necessary and for a lot of different reasons. The main reason being that I host worlds all the time. My internet seems to clash with a lot of people, and after 4 or 5 people lag can become quite frustrating for everyone else in the game. Not only would this completely fix the issue(I play bf3, and lag doesn't exist) A lot of server owners have lives, or in some other cases families. Not everyone can leave their xbox on 24/7 or be around that much to moderate completely themselves. With a server based game and a heightened moderation system, I could see this game possibly hosting up to 12-16 players in most cases, without the server purchaser neccesarily needing to be present. My say is for it. not that we're voting.
