This is what I did so far:

Note: this is assuming I will keep my old world, I have already found the portal room with the stronghold and have all the eyes of enter. There is no new biomes which leads me to assume that I can just use the reset nether option and have a great time! Please leave your opinions or lists below! Thanks

My list:
1. Pickaxe (Unbreaking III, Fortune III, Efficiency IV) (Diamond)
2. Sword (Looting III, Sharpness IV) (Diamond)
3. Chest plate (Protection III) (Diamond)
NOT DONE YET:
4. Boots (Diamond)
5. Bow
6. Leggings (Diamonds)
7. Helmet (Diamond)

I think I'm well prepared. Anything I should not enchant? Let me know.

I have like, 8 splash of health, Full set of diamond armor with like, protection 2 on everything. (I think) Diamond pick, fortune 3, efficency 4 unbreaking 3. Diamond sword looting 3 sharpness 3, like 16 golden apples. A few stacks of cobble. I'm pretty set to go.

I'm obviously not going in without potions, enchanted boots, or enchanted bow

My world has no fortress, so I'm passing on the potions~
(I won't go into detail here on how I'm getting to the End.)

Anyhow, my stuff set is:

Protection XV, Feather IV Armour.
Power IV, Infinity I Bow.
2 arrows.
-Sharpness weapons oddly do not affect the Dragon from what I've read-
A pile of meat.
16 Snow Blocks
8 Pumpkins.
Some type of Efficiency IV Diamond Pick.
About 80 eggs that I can use to finish him off.

I'm not bothing bring any blocks because they'll all be torn up.
I could use my piles of Obsidian, but the End Stone will suffice....

I forgot to say I have 2 bows, one infinity and one Power 3

Over prepared in my opinion.

I have this nagging feeling that a lot of people are going to be really disappointed because of the hype.
