So I've been playing on my survival world for a really long time. Ive put my home inside of a mountain. Ive got a lot more room in the mountain to work with but im running out of ideas. What are some ideas for rooms that you guys make or think i should make.
Things I already have:
Potion room
enchanting room
nether room
storage room
furnace room
massive bedroom.
I already have farms aswell:
tree farm
melon, wheat, and sugar cane.
Farm for animals
I have 2 ideas so far. A room for wolves and a room lined with cake everywhere. I think thatd be pretty cool.
How big is your tree farm... Have you got all 3 types of trees, each with its' own farm area?
Best to have separate ones, as that is when they each grow best is with their own kind. Spruce needs more space to grow effectively though. (mainly for the next update that is somewhat around the corner apparently.)
Also have you made a pumpkin farm? Have you made a lava storage room? (A room that you can safely store lava in pools away from what you are building)
How about a crafting room, Billard Room, Entertainment room, Dining Room/Hall, Throne Room, Dance Room(Music Room), Branch Mine Room, Wart Room(for the next update), and Trophy Room (also ready for the next update).
That is all I can think of...:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

My Tree farm is just an oak tree farm that gives me about a stack every time. Im not looking to upgrade that yet. I am gonna have something like a trophy room but i dont think its going to be in my house. I really like the Lava idea though, that would be really helpful. And what do you mean by wart room, cant it only grow in the Nether?

In the next update it will be able to grow in the overworld. A few of those items are for preparing for the next update, so you will have it when it comes out. Warts being one of them as well the having 2 other farms with the other trees, that is if you want to mess with the colored wood in the next update.
Most stuff I do now in my own worlds is keeping the next update in mind and building accordingly. But that is me... That is kinda where the lava room idea came from, as I got tired of running into lava...lol Can't say I put it in the best of places, but it will at least not burn my tree farms down...:D

In the next update it will be able to grow in the overworld. A few of those items are for preparing for the next update, so you will have it when it comes out. Warts being one of them as well the having 2 other farms with the other trees, that is if you want to mess with the colored wood in the next update.
Most stuff I do now in my own worlds is keeping the next update in mind and building accordingly. But that is me... That is kinda where the lava room idea came from, as I got tired of running into lava...lol Can't say I put it in the best of places, but it will at least not burn my tree farms down...
Ahhhhh no wonder why my nether wart wasn't growing lol.
How bout some mob systems? A farm for each color of sheep? Why not go into the nether and make some rooms there, add some grass, plants some trees and make it look nice. Basically what im saying is have fun with it. Don't worry about everything you build having a specifically helpful purpose. Also, add some giant mushrooms around the place and maybe make a farm for them also! Hope i helped
