Ok so i built a spawn room for slimes, but no slimes are spawing, it has been around 1 in a half days in real life time, and iv had one slime that spawned.
You might be just on the edge of a slime chunk. You could try making it bigger (width-wise, not height). They also won't spawn if there are lots of dark caves nearby, so you could make sure you lit up any nearby caves in all directions.

You have to make sure its a slime chunk first. There's a bunch of ways to do this but i would use this link. http://extension.ws/minecraft/slimes.html . When you do hollow out the areaYou need to light up the caves all around it so that monsters wont take up spawn spaces. that really helps the slime spawn
