previous tutorial world? I want to start a world with the original Tutorial world, but whenever I delete the Title update and try to make the Tutorial world, it freezes my Xbox.
Just had a crazy nostalgia bomb from watching ChimneySwift's Minecraft Xbox LP, lol!
For those of you who don't know, I am talking about the one from before pistons were added.
Uhh...not that I know of.
The only two ways I can think of are either A.) Finding someone with the map already, or B.) Download it from the Internet somewhere, both of which are unlikely....
I just hate this new Tutorial World so much! I miss the old one.
I suggested 4J to add a feature in TU10, where you can create a tutorial world, but have the option tho choose one of the tutorial worlds from the older updates, too.
That would be awesome. I started playing the tut world and saving it to the cloud or my internal hard drive since TU7. I beleive you can delete minecraft and reinstall it but choose not to update it. Then you have to play offline and you get the first tutorial world. Find a friend with a barely touched tut world and go play there. Or look here for a server running the tut world you want.

Just because your online doesn't mean you should act with no disregard for the real people through the screen.
I notice you don't mention whether or not you also cleared your cache when you deleted the update. I think you now have to do both in order to truly get back to the initial game, so perhaps give that a try... either that or they've changed things and it just doesn't work at all anymore.
are you talking about the one with the city / advanced village? (personally, i like the new tut world with the mansion better)
I'm pretty sure he's talking about the one from 1.6.6. It had a castle and a lighthouse, but instead of a piston display in the tutuorial area, there was just a furnace area.
I have the world and every other update tutorial world (I think there is just 4) I will be more than happy to send it to you if you can not figure it out.
If you delete the update off of your hard drive then clear your cache and decline the update when you boot up the game you can load the old tutorial world and save it. There's a possibility of freezing, but I was able to get it on the first shot.
