In a server i have been playing in for a while there has been a number of strange happenings as of late. The first event was a friend of mine who was killed in the secure vault while not being hit as pvp was off and not poisned or starveing the chat said that he was killed by a zombie pigman but it was in the over world and there were no pigman around. This has been happening all the time now and i know how to get it to happen but not why it happenes. if you go into the nether and agro a pigman to the portal kill him then go through once inside the vault you take damage and knock back the same as if you were being hit by one. and if you stand on bedrock it will wait until you leave the block to attack you as it will not travel onto it the only problem is that the pigman is invisable and cant be hit. I judt want to know if this is a glitch or bug or if this is a real thing or even if it has happened to you. i consider myself knowlageable about minecraft and it is driving me crazy to not know what is happening. Mssage me if you have anymore questions about the server. thanks guys!!
Weird I was just going to post about my game being haunted also, but in a different way. I had a partial stack of oak and a full stack of spruce the other day and went to the nether. I went to put the full stack of spruce in a nearby chest on the other side and noticed that the oak had become the full stack and the spruce had become the partial stack. I'm 100% certain I did not get the stacks confused.
Normally i would regard this as fake. But i've had this happen to me while in a minecart in the overworld, it hapened only twice on a world i had since 1.6.6. Killed By Zombie Pigman.
technically zombie pigman can be in the overworld, as all it takes it a lightning strike on a pig...
However what the OP is actually describing sounds like a bug/glitch that appears to be still in the game.... It has been toned down over the versions, but not completely narrowed down.... obviously it might more likely be unexpected behavior of the code itself. In other words was not intended... I am sure on that, as there should never be invisible mobs unless it just so happens to be the host(this being the only exception).

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I saw nothing, heard nothing, and the minecart track in question is in mid air and is only 1 block thick with an occasional torch on the side, made out of cobblestone. At first i thought it was a possible skeleton shooting at me, but it was mid day with no cover.
The host's Xbox itself is hosting a server, other players connect to it. People generally call multiplayer worlds a "server", even on the XBLA edition.
hey scar_Regret this happens to me before creative came out i will be standing there then something just hits me and i die

It's obviously a bug/glitch.
Well i know that things can travel through portals in pc so i was thinking that it might be a program error or somthing
It just sounds like it's some kind of glitch to me.

Retired StaffProbably because it happened on the Xbox 360 Edition?
